Nitza’s Pizza

Pizza not the same anymore, ordered pepperoni but meat seems not want we want… Not so great Valentines meal… On the other hand, fast service and clean eating area.

I love the free kids tours!!! What a fantastic way to get kids involved and knowing where there food comes from! The fact that all donations from the kids pizzas go to the Stollery is amazing.
Little more sauce & onions on the donair and it would’ve been 5 stars

Decent pizza but not worthy of a special trip. Both pizzas we ordered were wrong or incomplete. We ordered #16. It was supposed to have pepperoni and smokey bacon on it. It had only one sweet sausage like meat. We also had #31 which I really liked but it was missing the tomatoes. We advised the store and they were disinterested. The sizes are smaller than expected, think individual when you see medium. However, I thought the amount of toppings was generous. The sauce is quite good. Free pop or slush provided with order. If I lived in the immediate vicinity I would order from here, but I wouldn’t make a special trip again. If I was hungry and passing by, I would.

The best!!! Thanks for feeding my friends family and coworkers for the past year and now at my new location NWR. I know it’s a distance but we loved our Christmas pizza lunch at work. Not a slice left!

great pizza… amazing taste… great choices on menu… both vege and non vege items… had their pizza at a party… will definately try the resturant… recommended…

Use to love there food. Most resent couple of times, the donair meat was not cocked right. My family and I got sick. Onion rings came soggy as soup. Not to mention. When ordering for delivery, just hope you don’t have to repeat what you want 5 times or more. Highly, not impressed

My friend ordered a pizza from this location then, 5 mins later was called into work and could not get the pizza. So she called and cancelled her pizza, the girl that answered was understanding and said it wasn’t a problem. Not even a minute later the owner called my friend and started yelling at her and harassing her over the phone. He filled up her voicemail box with profanity and derogatory comments as he threatened her for not picking up the pizza that she cancelled.
My friend had to block FOUR different number that he was calling her from. The owner of this place is crazy, unprofessional and any pizza I’ve had from This place has been as greasy as the owners business tactics.

My husband, myself and my son were all in your restaurant a little over two hours ago (probably around 4pm) it was our first time eating in and I just wanted to say how nice it was to first enter and see a group of young adults (I won’t say teenagers due to the awesome behavior) behind the counter who were all attentive and did not have cell phones in their hands and truly provided great … awesome customer service. There was this one young lady who was working (longer dark hair and dark framed glasses) and my goodness she went above and beyond her job. Our son who is almost 3 — she offered him a slushy as soon as he entered and then he began to have a melt down due to just waking up from a nap. She tried to joke with him and got the table all set up for us while we waited for our food. The meltdown was continuing as my husband tried to carry him around to calm him down as we waited for our food. Once our pizza arrived and it was too warm for my son she just walked over to our table and took his pizza and said that she would place it in the freezer so it could cool down enough for him to eat. The amount of common sense in this young lady’s head is amazing. I thanked her as at this point the meltdown was going on for about 20 minutes and I just wanted to pull my own hair out and crawl into a hole. Then once my son continued to have his meltdown I decided that we would leave. I went to the counter and asked for boxes to put our pizza in and this young girl ran over and helped me pack up all of our food then ran to answer the phone. I told her on my way out that she is an amazing young person and really amazing at her job. Had my son not been flipping out we were going to wait and ask to speak to the manager to tell him about the amazing customer service this young lady provided us with! She truly is a great young lady and an asset to your business.

Simply great pizza! Donair pizza is among my favorites! Tried it on the recomendation of a great friend a few years back, and now rarely order from anywhere else. Prices consistant with the industry, and quality has yet to disapoint!
Now a family favorite.

Excellent pizza; exceptional service. Cannot say enough good things about Nitza’s — they do truly understand customer service and excellent food. Service is above and beyond and the food is all quality delicious and prepared with care.

I have to say the staff when I went in to get my pizzas were great and friendly. I guess that was to help cover up for the bad pizzas. We had 6 people sitting home waiting to enjoy this so called great pizza and everyone was extremely disappointed. We paid just short of $ 40 for two large pizzas that were about the size of a couple of 12″ and figured that this was not going to be enough to feed us all. To our surprise we pretty much had one whole pizza left because no one liked either one. Our Donair pizza tasted like it had mayonnaise on it instead of donair sauce and who puts red sauce on the Donair pizza. The other meat pizza was just plain bad tasting as well. Pretty bad when our pizza eating dog would not eat either one as well. Needless to say I will not be throwing another $ 40 dollars to the composte bin again from this place.

Best Pizza place EVER! I’m not a pizza fan, and my kids won’t eat the crust on most pizza’s but this place is DIFFERENT! I LOVE their pizza’s and my kids do to, and always clean their plates. Not to mention that their donair loaf is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! The staff is always friendly and extremely welcoming and accommodating to everyone, especially kids. I wouldn’t order pizza from anywhere else!

I can start by saying I prefer this establishment’s pizza over boston pizza because it doesn’t have that sweet taste in the sauce that BP has. I rate them a 1 because of their total disregard for customer care.
Me and my wife both work leaving us with a limited window in our day to do what we need to (groceries, household maintenance etc.). They usually have a 10 – 15 minute wait time so we called 20 minutes ahead of time right after work.
My wife spoke with one of the girls, and asked her for the total. She stated «around $ 60» my wife asked for an exact amount so we could be sure that we would be taking everything we ordered, who wants a surprise $ 100 pizza bill after all! So she said yeah, it’s going to be $ 60 — even.
So, as we’re pulling up we get a call.
The guy says that he was just confirming the phone number was real — need I remind you that the time for the order was 10 – 15 minutes, same amount of time it takes us to get there.
We told the guy we were pulling up and it should have been done already.
When we’re inside, the guy from the phone said that it’s an out of town number and they wanted to make sure that it wasn’t someone from elsewhere trying to contact someone else.
We then had to wait about 15 minutes there and when it came out, the cashier told us the total was $ 71. I told her that we were told $ 60.
She said «well I didn’t take your order» and I asked for a manager. As she was doing that, the girl that took the call said to the guy «I messed up» and ran in the back.
Guy approaches us, immediately is defensive. Says to let him try and figure out a way to lower the price and says there’s no way. (They don’t have a regular system that you normally see. They have little girls using pen and paper to add it all up.)
I told him that we were told something else and he says «I’ll go ahead and give it to you for $ 60. Just give me $ 60, it’s not worth making a girl cry over.» It wasn’t as easy as I just made it out to be either because i had to put up with his bs negotiation tactics for 5 mins, right as I was about to walk out without the pizza, before he agreed to accept what one of his employees quoted us. Had she done her job and added up our total upon request, this could have been avoided. And to try and make us feel guilty for a girl crying (BECAUSE SHE DIDNT PERFORM HER BAASSSIC DUTIES) that I didn’t even say a word to, is completely out of hand in my opinion.
— your employee that messed up is more important to you than a customer… who is paying you??? How is this customer service?
Why is some little girl in skimpy clothes more important to you than someone who wants your product?!
Very, very, VERY poor customer service.
We won’t ever be here again, sadly.
There is absolutely no customer loyalty or appreciation.

Great pizza! But what is even better is the customer service. The owner takes time to visit with the customers, especially my children, they do countless sponsors for the community and gave our hockey team a great party for only ten bucks a person (all you can eat pizza and wings!)
They even go as far to allow kids to make there own pizza, which they cannot get enough of!
Great food, great prices, and great customer service!

This pizza place used to be the best pizza place in Sherwood park, but recently the prices have been going up and the quality has been going down. I would now recommend the old Nitza’s Pizza over the new one. I would no longer recommend this pizza restaurant to people (unfortunately)

I have eaten here twice in the past couple of months and loved it both times. The location is reasonably spacious and quite comfortable if you want to eat-​in, and take-​out on a Saturday night was ready in under 20 minutes. I’m not a huge pizza fan, but their pizzas are delicious. The crusts are doughy but not too thick, and I didn’t find the pizza greasy at all. They have a wide variety of pizzas on their menu, and offer free fountain pop or slushies with your purchase. The staff were friendly and I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended.
