We went only once, not very good selection on the menu for dinner. Very bland. Dirty place, I wouldn’t recommend it

If you have read my other stuff, you know I don’t bs you. I have eaten here 4 times. Prime rib, lamb shank and nachos twice. All were great. The nachos is easily enough for two. Beef was as I like it and the lamb brazed very nicely. Like everywhere in Sidney, service and friendliness were first rate.
Go.

Great atmosphere and not too crowded when we were there. (Well, it was a late dinner!) Our waitress was really friendly and relaxed. The apple pie moonshine tasted like an otter pop. I ordered the veggie burger with a salad and it tasted pretty good. It could have used some other condiment since I asked for them to leave off the dressing. I’m pretty sure the bun was broiled with butter, so if you’re dairy free like I am, be warned.

The seafood pasta combination was very delicious. My wife really enjoyed the fresh and well seasoned fries that accompanied her dish. My wife, baby, and little dog, were able to enjoy lunch together in the front outdoor seating. The waitress and owner were very accommodating and provided 5-​star service. We will be back again when we visit the area in the future. Looking forward to more of that seafood pasta. Yum!

I do not recommend eating here. Got out food and all 3 burgers were super dry, the salads were soggy and the service was very slow even though the place was dead. Very displeased with tonight.

Love the Boondocks! We eat there 2 to 3 times a month and it has not disappointed ever. Its a pub with the best food. Lots of locals have it as their ‘local’.

Boondocks. Oh Boondocks. You are my consistent burger joint. I’m so rarely in your neighborhood. Sometimes it is a year or two. This last time we were reintroduced it was almost three. I live far away, across the sea a great many miles. Much to far to meet as often as I’d like. Your scrumptious food I crave. Last night I had the Boondocks Burger with fries. Oh my. It was awesome. Cooked to perfection. I ate every morsel. I licked my lips and craved more, but not being a gluten I held back from ordering another… to go of course. I was lucky though. I was dining with my beautiful parents and their appetites are not what mine is. I indulged in a few of the dry rub ribs from the appetizer menu, and had a sample of the pesto salmon (wild caught if course). Darn you Boondocks Café! Now I crave the dry rub ribs, and Pest Salmon as well. What will I ever do the next time I walk through your doors? Life was so simple when I was only aware of how good your burgers are. Now I’ll have to make a choice, or will I? Maybe next I’ll order all three with a large container to go.
