Very nice waitress, passable maki sushi but BYOW: bring your own wasabi. I don’t know what they cut their wasabi with but it was dark green, clay-​like, devoid of wasabi taste, and left a pasty residue in the mouth. Not just a condiment, wasabi is anti-​bacterial and anti-​parasitic — kind of important when eating raw fish. If you’re going to hold yourself out as a Japanese restaurant you can’t fake something as basic to the cuisine as wasabi. Made for the least satisfying sushi I have ever eaten.

Went here today some of the food was ok the waitress was very nice… However the quality of the fish was very poor the salmon was almost orange (farmed) and the tuna tasted like chlorine waste of $ 50.00 just thought I would give it a shot and save my self the drive and hopefully have a new sushi spot … The rock shrimp roll was good though.

This restaurant is on the Do Not Miss list. we had a Seafood Sushi boat that had an amazing selection and a level of quality that would make anyone that loves perfectly prepared and served sushi. The seafood was so fresh that it was magic and perfectly cut with the appropriatly sharp knives. make it a point to get here!!!

Was excited to discover a sushi place in town and went in to give it a try. As a Vancouverite who recently moved to the area understood that sushi will always just be a bit below par from what I can get on the mainland so i have considered this element in this review. I ordered two sushi rolls and the rice of both of these rolls were rubbery. yes, i said it. RUBBERY. I don’t know if its just that batch of rice or that its their interpretation of sushi but it was enough for me to decide that this is not the place for me. What was funnier was that the next table said to the waiter, «Complements to the chef !» as i have just taken my first bite. I think not!

The food is excellent and authentic and the staff are very friendly. It got kind of busy and it seemed like they were understaffed for a bit, but overall excellent.

Very good food and services. The food is excellent & very healthy. I will definitely go again and refers to all freinds, too.

This place sucks. Their water tasted like it was used for tea that didn’t get washed. I came there with my bf and his family. Our food took too long! I ordered the Tempura dish for $ 17, all it came with were miso soup which by the way very salty, ¼ cup of rice, 2 pieces of ‘prawns’, 2 pieces of squid, 4 veggies. I should’ve just ordered the Tempura a la carte which I know would be less of everything. They overcharged us for US dollars twice on top of exchange rate. We were going to pay in USD cash, but their rate would be less cause they would have to go to the ‘bank’, we weren’t aware that those supposedly welcoming waitresses would do that. No wonder we were the only customers there. Never again.

Good service but horrible food. My cousin and I ordered the Deluxe House Boat for 2 for 47.96 which was 23.98 per person which is DEFINITELY not worth it.
The sunomono salad was beyond disgusting. There was barely any vinegar taste to it and the noodles were hard to chew on.
But the service was excellent. I would have gave a 1 star if it wasn’t for the service. The ladies were absolutely welcoming.
