call 1st, I believe they’ve shutdown, a shame really, it was the best sushi I’ve ever had, plus the experience of eating on the floating boat with Captain Ralph (& Kari), and sitting with whomever was there (max of 8)… it was such a delight. Maybe 1 day it’ll open again… i can only wish…

Of all the places we stayed during our visits to Vancouver Island, this was by far our favorite. Ralph was a treat to chat with as well.

Being from Vancouver, we’ve had our fill of sushi places but after trying this place a few days ago we just can’t stop talking about it. Highly recommend it for anyone travelling in or near Sooke. Capt. Ralph was absolutely adorable and many kudos to the sushi Chef, Kari. The candied salmon and yam roll is now one of my top favorite rolls of all time :) Thank you for a great time!
