I discovered J’s when saw the word «Donairs» while waiting for the traffic light on Highway 16A and Golden Spike Road. When I think Donairs I usually think good quality fresh food. Since I was actively looking for food I decided to pull in.
It appeared that it was the owner who served me. He was friendly, helpful, and even suggested an extra plastic bag around my donair when he discovered I was taking my food to go.
My donair was very tasty. I will definitely return to J’s and wish I had discovered it sooner.

This is a donair joint so don’t go thinking that you are going to an actual restaurant since its called a «diner». That being said, this place makes amazing donairs. Unfortunately the only guy who works there (the owner) is very anti-​social and while I wouldn’t go as far as to call him a jerk, I definitely do not like spending any more time in there than I have to (get in and get the hell out… and it doesn’t hurt to know what you want ahead of time). I pretty much come here every time I am drunk at 1am and am in the area.
