I’ve seen these guys at every German craft market and other food related markets around the city. Think maple syrup candy hardened on ice on a stick. There is something in the magic of the simplicity that is awesome. I am not sure what maple sugar has to do with Germany, however, it is a nice treat. It’s just out of place at the German Christmas Market.
