Dollarama has become a freaking lifesaver for potty treats these past 2 months while training my toddler! Stickers, Disney princess jewelry, and dress up wands, tiaras, bracelets galore! It’s nice being able to let her pick something out without having to worry about the price. Also — hands down — the best place to buy coloring books! They can seriously be $ 5-$ 8 at Toys R Us! The other thing we always buy here are seasonal window static cling decorations — inexpensive & safe for a toddler to decorate the windows & mirrors of your house with. This location is clean & bright. The line can take 10 minutes to get through sometimes but are you really going to complain about a place where nothing is over $ 2.00?

I love Dollarama because you never have to ask how much something is. Seriously, this is what a dollar store should be. Everything is a dollar. The odd thing is 2 for a dollar. Unlike the so-called dollar stores that sell stuff for up to $ 30, this chain is reliable. It used to be cash only which was a bit of a pain, but obviously they’re doing okay because now interac and credit cards are accepted. It makes perfect sense. If you’re not ripping people off, they’ll buy more because it’s genuinely a good deal. Chances are good that they’ll keep coming back, too. I love the variety, too. It also isn’t necessarily a bunch of cheap crap that falls apart or doesn’t work. No, it’s stuff that hasn’t been ridiculously marked up or that doesn’t have a name brand. The craft stuff is awesome and I even got some reliable tools here.
