Very reasonable prices, especially if you go with the buffet. Very delicious food. My favourite is the chilli chicken, butter chicken and naan!

Hawelli (now known as New Asian Village) is really a secret gem! The food, service, and atmosphere is wonderful! Everything I have tried has been amazing! The staff are so nice, and offer great recommendations. I have also picked up takeout which was wonderful!

Now called ‘New Asian Village’. They served the best Indian food I have had in Alberta. As good as any I have had in SF Bay area. Good variety and fresh dishes.

So this has become New Asian Village now,
Same food different name I suppose.
I did find much of the buffet very tasty, but I felt like they were holding back a bit on the spices for their western audience. I couldn’t help but feel like there were so e spices missing as I ate each item.
The butter chicken had more of a tomato taste then I am used to and I just didn’t get the same heat I was looking for. The naan bread seemed like it was cooked almost carelessly, and it was somewhat difficult to get service.
My 8 year old daughter who, just found her love for spice was sitting there with her mouth burning for a very long time before water refills came around, even though the restaurant only had 3 other tables going while we were there.
The food was good but not great, and the service was serviceable I guess, I am only rating it four because I can’t give it 3.5. It’s priced too high for what you get, if the service was up to par it would be an easy 4 maybe higher.

Today was my first time eating here. I went in to get take out using a groupon. They told me the groupon was only good for dining in, I told them it didn’t say that in the fine print so they allowed me to order take out. All the staff I talked to were very nice and polite. The food was good. I’ll go back. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it’s a little overprice. Perhaps the buffet is a better deal, I don’t know.

Haweli’s is one of the best places for friendly and reliable service. The server comes often as they can, even when busy to make sure everything is good and the customer is happy.
The food there is PHENOMENAL! Easily the best place for Indian cuisine. I’ve tried quite a few dishes and have no complaints. My personal favourite is their Butter Chicken. Be sure to ask for Coconut Naan bread if you would like to enjoy a sweet treat, as it is not shown on the menu but they will make it for you if you ask.
I have not once been disappointed by this restaurant and am a frequent visitor.

There is nothing spectacular about the food here. It’s just another Indian restaurant. The food may not be terrible, but the service is. I was here one afternoon for the buffet and I was pretty much the only one. I asked if I could get roti instead of naan. No, they would charge for it. That is my cue that the service sucks. Only one other place has done this before. Then, I don’t remember what, but there was another No for something I asked. Wreaked of the No attitude, so I left without eating. If I was the owner, I would be so ashamed to let anyone leave without eating. That’s just my values.

Probably the best butter chicken I have ever had. When I go to an Indian Restaurant I like to go to the buffet and try new things because I’ll never know what to get on the menu. But at Haweli, butter chicken is a MUST. I haven’t had better. Would definitely recommend to anyone willing to try new things!

Lunch buffet is incredible. All the food in the world to eat but such limited space in the belly. The food and the service both are very good, and the na’an bread… WOW. For the carb conscious, this is NOT the place to be. Otherwise, indulge and enjoy. You won’t regret it.

Came to Haweli with my hubby and baby in tote for a lunchtime buffet. Was disappointed after arriving to find that they have changed their menu and no longer offer weekday lunch buffets even though I had a coupon for a B1G1 free buffet valid ONLY for weekday lunches.
We decided to stay and try a vindaloo and curry off the menu alongside garlic naan and basmati rice.
They did not offer for us to use our coupon for the lunch specials but did allow us to use it for one free item.
The vindaloo and curry were phenomenal and the garlic naan was to die for!
The service was incredibly attentive and the atmosphere was beautiful. I uploaded a few pics and we definitely will be returning.
The only reason they get 4 stars is we were quite disappointed that they no longer offered a weekday lunch buffet but will definitely be back for a date night sans kids!

The food here is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Lots of soft lighting, draped fabrics, and brilliant hints of India…
And then, there’s the food! We had the shrimp tikka, OmG what a treat (try it w the mint sauce to add a bit of bite), paneer crusted w chickpea… and that was just for starters! We left the deciding to our server, and he didn’t disappoint at all! Thanks again, Haweli, for a wonderful night!
PS Try the coconut naan for dessert… :-)

Truly one of best in Indian dining in the city! The Food is absolutely wow! You will not be disappointed in the buffet. I have eaten at several indian cuisine restaurants in the city from the fancier to the basic and this one is truly a 10 in all aspects.
The staff are always friendly and it is truly a beautiful atmosphere to dine in.

I have eaten at Haweli a number of times and it is always delicious! I have only been there for dinner and would like to try the buffet lunch sometime. Highly recommended.
