I have been purchasing eye wear from Hakim for over 15 years.
My last purchase was at another St. Catharines store in 2008. They made an absolute mess of the order and I decided to come to this location to try to have it resolved and they were able to resolve it quickly and to my satisfaction.
What do I like about Hakim? Very good selection of eye wear, reasonably priced, dedication to after sales service, good customer service.
Although I have not purchased product from this location, they fit all of my criteria, especially the good service.
What sold me on Hakim was a simple service that was offered to me in 1995 before I was ever a customer. I was the ubiquitous «poor student» living in the GTA. One of the screws in my glasses came loose, fell out and the glasses fell apart one day while on campus. I could not afford a new pair. There was a Hakim store very close by, I visited and asked what it would cost to repair. In 3 minutes the glasses were fixed, they even conducted a fitting and readjustment all at no charge. I told them that I could probably afford the repair and wanted to pay them. They wouldn’t take my money. THAT is going above and beyond which is why I’m a happy Hakim customer.
Since being a regular customer, I have been to other stores to request assistance in minor adjustments and each time it was carbon copy — prompt service all at no charge.
I’m a Hakim customer for life.
