We Ordered our appetizers(bruschetta bread and calamari) then our main dinner which was 3 lbs of wings. Our wings came first. We told them we were waiting on our appetizers and the waitress who was new had not put the order in. The(I assume) assistant manager came back and told us we should probably eat the wings now or they would not be good enough to eat later. We thought, ok fine. It was $ 30.00 for 3 lbs of wings and the size of each wing was small compared to other chicken wing places in Niagara. I could understand that price IF the we received 8 wings per pound but we only got 6 wings each. One positive note, they were good but not worth the money. After we finished our wings which didn’t take long our appetizers came which were cold. We asked for two more beers and they only had one more left of that brand. From no cutlery without asking to bad quantity for the price this restaurant is not worth going to. Eating here was basically insulting. At this rate this restaurant will not in business. We will not be back.

My girlfriend and I went to Shoeless Joes in St. Catharines for our anniversary recently and I have a track record of being fairly unimpressed with«sports bar-ish» restaurants. I wasn’t particularly blown away by Kelsey’s or Applebees for example but this was different. The food I got elsewhere was alright but not impressive. I ordered an Applewood Cheddar Burger with a side of fries and gravy. I can only describe it in three words; best… burger… ever. The burger was perfect and the gravy actually had flavour, unlike a lot of places [where the gravy all tastes stale and the same from place to place]. To top it all off, we were in the middle of ordering desert and the waiter(who I am fairly sure was the manager) recommended the«Ultimate Cookie or the Deep Fried Ice Cream with Nachos». He also mentioned that we might want to share the Deep Fried Ice Cream if that’s what we end up ordering, but we took his advice with a grain of salt because I am a big boy and I can eat quite a bit lol. My girlfriend ordered the deep fried iced cream and I had the Ultimate Cookie. We weren’t expecting the massive amount of ice cream and pastry-like nachos they would come. ITWASHUGE! Definitely a good choice for 2 – 3 people. The Ultimate Cookie was yummy. It was the size of a large dinner plate, freshly baked with tons of chocolate chips that oozed out of the center, topped with some drizzled chocolate syrup, served warm with sprinkled icing sugar around the edges. All together, with an 8oz steak, a baked potato, some veggies, a 4oz cheddar cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon, fries and gravy. as well as four soft drinks(oh yeah, they’re bottomless) for less than $ 60.00. We were so impressed, we gave the guy a $ 10.00 tip. Great service considering that they were short staffed that night and über good food. I’ll be going back every chance I get!
