I have not eaten here, BUT, my fiancé’s father’s side of the family is Polish, and he has been getting kielbasa from here for about a decade now. Believe me when I say that they make THEBEST ever. We came here with last weekend with his father for the first time, and went home with 5 lbs of smoked kielbasa, 2 lbs of smoked turkey sausage and another 2lbs of double smoked turkey sausage. We also picked up some frozen pierogies(i’m not sure if they make them as they look machine-made and prepackaged already). We got the cheddar cheese, sauerkraut with pork, and pork. We tried some cheddar ones and sauerkraut with pork last night — loved the cheddar ones, not so much the sauerkraut/pork ones. The sauerkraut tasted fine but the pork tasted a bit funny, in my opinion, or perhaps we just didn’t cook them right? I dunno. I guess I will have to cook the pork-only ones sometime and figure that out. We made the kielbasa with a bottle of beer, covered and baked in the oven at 250 °F for 1−2hrs. It beats ANY restaurant kielbasa I have ever had. We already have plans to go back and stock up on more next month!

+ Lots of Polish/European Meats, Friendly Service, Reasonable Prices — Some items, like the bagged Pizza and Breads, are not priced Walked in here on a weekday at 1:00pm and it was pretty busy – lots of people ordering sandwiches. An assorted sub is $ 5.75. I ordered some wood smoked kielbasa, kabanosy, and hot pepperettes. All were very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. They have lots of polish goods and other european items. It’s a pretty big place. They have a freezer area with frozen meat on a stick, cabbage rolls, and perogies. Towards the far right of the store are loaves of breads and rolls in bags. I’m not sure why, but none of these items have prices on them. We did buy a few loaves of italian and french bread, they were $ 2.20 a piece. Again, very reasonable. Everyone in here was super friendly and they speak polish too. I will be back for more deli meats and to try a sub!

This might just be my favorite bakery in the Niagara area. It’s a Polish bakery with a full deli section full of a wide variety of kielbasa, pepperoni & other sausages. They will make you an awesome, fresh sandwich for you with your choice of meats, cheeses & toppings on fluffy buns. Their rye bread is out of this world that is freshly baked on site, and they have a grocery section full of specialty, gourmet & authentic Polish/Ukrainian foods — jars of sour cherries, Polish mayonnaise, butter, pressed cottage cheese, sauerkraut, frozen cabbage rolls & perogies, wild mushrooms, teas, etc., etc. They also have great pizza — we used to have it delivered to our school for pizza day when I was a child. The staff is friendly & I would say most are bilingual in English & Polish. Be sure to try some of their«Gypsy» kielbasa — that’s our favorite — and get a few links of Cabanossi. You can thank us later.
