Espresso Passion

Crazy good pizza love this place. Awesome salads. Service is fantastic. Quality food.

In the «ethnic» street in St. Catharines, you can find Polish deli’s and halls, and Italian cafes and supermarkets. Espresso Passion is both a café and a wee supermarket.
It is very clean and modern inside with a proper espresso counter when I imagined people coming in for a shot, just like in Rome. They also have a seating area with about 10 tables, and additional tables just past the wee shop.
I had an espresso, it was good… nothing like Rome, but it was nice an strong and smooth. My mom had a cappuccino which was really good, but a bit too sweet as she added sugar!
For our lunch we had the mushroom bacon and pepperoni pizza and a rosemary porchetta and cheese panini. I asked about the size of the pizza and the server tole us it was good for one person = one hungry person!!! It was a very good size!
The $ 14 pizza was FANTASTIC… a crispy thin crust with just the right amount of toppings. The $ 8 panini was also great, with salty pork and nice cheese. I even got some chili’s in oil to try to spice things up a bit!
The staff was super friendly and getting ready for their Italian Easter dinners so they did not have everything on the menu available (we went Easter Saturday).
The wee shop had some frozen meals to buy, their featured espresso brand, dry pastas and oils to take home! What a great little addition to the café!
Even though I am not Italian, I really enjoyed this place and felt very welcomed! i will def. return for more PIZZA!!!
