Seeds glorious seeds. Was glad to visit Gaze Seeds on my recent trip to Newfoundland as we brought back some great treats to plant in my garden here in Vancouver. Other than live plants, seeds are one of my favorite things. I used to have a bit of a seed addiction; scouring the internet for interesting seeds to add to my collection and garden. I even used to sell seeds. I once got an email from a woman on eBay whose sister has the same name as I do and she said: «Louise, you silly cow! Why are you buying so many seeds? Are you starting a farm?» Well I might be a silly cow, but she wasn’t my sister !!! LOL These days I limit my seed addiction to real life. And anytime I’m in a seed store my addiction rears its ugly head and I furiously acquire large quantities of seed as I know it may be a long time until my next fix… This store has all the basics: flowers, veggies, herbs. Lots of amazing local varietals — things that do well in Newfoundland & Labrador’s climate. And lots of friendly, helpful advice.
