Have eaten here many times for lunch or dinner. Food has been consistently good, always served on hot plates(which they warn you about!) which keeps everything nice and warm during your meal. Excellent value for money keeps me going back. A couple criticisms would be service — it seems to depend on who you get. Usually fine, but we’ve had a waiter there a couple times who had a bad attitude. Another thing I’ve noticed is it gets very loud when busy, so not a good choice for quiet conversation, but I’ve mainly noticed this Friday/Saturday dinners, not weekday lunches. I’ve been many times and recommend it to friends.

Vraiment le secret le mieux garder de St-Thomas! Cuisine mexicaine authentique, dans une vraie ambiance mexicaine, wow des gens local me l’on conseiller et vraiment pas déçu!

Every time I come here, I want to like it … But I just don’t. It’s not authentic in anyway. Tortilla soup was cold. Food is bland. More authentic Mexican food out of a food truck just down the road in Aylmer.

Good every time. The salsa verde served with chips is a favourite. I’ve never been disappointed coming here.

As St. Thomas’ only fully Mexican style restaurant, this one is a shoe in for a good review. However, what strikes me is that even though this is the only Mexican place, they haven’t let it make them complacent. The lines for a table on most weekends can attest to that. I have visited with several groups from 4 to over 10 and the service and quality of dishes are constantly good. Even out of town guests are impressed by the quality. Chimichangas, enchiladas, burritos or tacos, through many visits I have probably tried just about everything on the menu and you honestly can’t go wrong. If you’re in the mood for some sit down Mexican food that doesn’t come out of a caulking gun-like contraption then you will not be disappointed.
