During weekend lunchtime, the restaurant managers greedily overcharged their customers, making them pay the weekend dinner price. I went to Fusion for lunch on Feb. 13 around 12:30pm. Upon entering, the waitress said they were charging the dinner prices during lunchtime. The managers changed the pricing of their lunch AYCE to the dinner pricing, taking advantage of their customers during the long weekend. Disappointed by the sudden money grab, our group ate elsewhere. Other customers heard this and left as well. ***On their menus, the weekend lunch and dinner prices INCLUDE holidays, so this overcharge is unacceptable. I also saw that their price stickers had gone up, so the dinner price they were ripping off from lunchtime customers was $ 27.99. I asked to speak to the manager, but as expected, they weren’t there(or cowardly hiding in the back). An extremely disreputable and selfish restaurant with little consideration for customers. I will not be going there again and will be advising people to not waste their time. Other restaurants deserve more business. P. S. On the plus side, the waiters and waitresses have always been diligent and kind. Great workers; greedy and poor management.

Out of pity giving them 1 star. ordered a black dragon roll(shrimp tempura with bbq eel on top) they basically give you premade sushi rolls(only cucumber and rice inside) topped with tiny bit of fish… No shrimp. They also try to clean out inventory, so watch out of unordered food on your table! Complete waste of money

I have been here on several occasions, always for lunch. The great thing about it is that they have a great menu with a variety of sushi, fried foods and dim sum. The shrimp shu mai is boyfriend and I’s favorite. The sushi rolls are all great and the service is always reasonable if not quick. It’s also a great location, easy to get to and lots of parking space. Will definitely be back!

The food is always consistent. A good variety of dim sum, sushi, Chinese and even Vietnamese dishes. The service is quick and the food is plentiful. We sat down last night and within seconds of turning in our first order, the plates were on the table! The teriyaki dishes had the right amount of sauce and weren’t sickeningly sweet. The chicken, fish, and beef were perfectly cooked. The maki rolls were neatly rolled, cut properly and seasoned well. Loved the General Tao chicken, the steamed bbq pork buns, the eel sushi and the lovely eggplant. We will be going back again! I would highly recommend it.

Finally got an opportunity to try out the all you can eat Fusion restaurant. Overall we had a good experience. Nice new modern hip restaurant. Clean. Friendly staff. Plentiful menu. We were there for the lunch menu which means we had access to everything except for a portion of menu items(like sashimi) reserved for the dinner menu. Pop and tea all included in the all you can eat. The dim sum, general tao chicken and rolls that we tried were very yummy. The edamame beans were good but slightly over cooked. All the dim sum was delish(especially shrimp) but the pork shumai was not all that it could be. Again, I want to say that mostly the food was delish! The biggest negative of our experience was the music was a little on the blasting side and we had trouble hearing each other during lunch conversation. Overall good and I would recommend. We will go and eat there again.

Went for lunch on a Saturday with my husband and son. Kids under 4 eat free, which was great. Food was very tasty, restaurant was clean and modern, service was excellent, and price was reasonable. We will definitely return!

First visit with my sister(who isn’t the most adventurous eater). The food was good, but it’s pretty expensive.

A group of four of us went to fusion and experienced poor service, minimal food and extreme wait times. First we were seated but not given any menus so after 10 minutes I got our own menus. Ordered our drinks and all of the soft drinks were very flat and watered down. We placed our orders, than received our soups and spring rolls. After 45 mins we asked where the sushi we had ordered was and they said they would check. We just went ahead and ordered again since we never saw the sushi and the waitress never came back to let us know. After a full 2 hours we still had not received any sushi and we ran out of time so had to go. I would not recommend this place based on poor taste, terrible service, and long wait times.

Both my wife and I love sushi and dim sum, so this is the perfect place for us. We went there on a Thursday night, they sat us right away next to a group of people. We waited 17 minutes(yes, I time it) before a waiter came to bring us water. We ordered some sushi and dim sum but no one came to take the order paper for another 20 minutes or so, we got up and walked out. We have no idea how good or bad is their food.

I’m not a fan of Asian food. It’s not because it doesn’t taste good — it does! — but because my entire childhood was spent with my dad dragging me to Asian restaurants seemingly every week. I got burned out. As an adult, I tend to avoid it. I was craving sushi, however, and since this was the place closest to my home, I stopped in. The dinner price was initially daunting, but then I reminded myself that it’s all you can eat. I planned to eat enough to justify the cost for every person who was in my party. I have only one regret: I got full before I could try everything on the menu. I love this place. LOVE it. I seriously dream about eating here, and am already planning my next visit.

I came for sushi and enjoyed all I had. There was very little language barrier and the staff was very pleasant. It did take me awhile to get a refill on my drink and that was after I flagged someone down which was not hard to do. The portions are your average number of pieces but were a little larger than other restaurants. Which is good considering it is about 3 $ more for dinner here than other places in Ottawa. 24.99 mon-fri for dinner this includes your drink and free refills. The last point I have is about the salmon teriyaki it’s only available on the dinner menu but it is delicious. The only negative I had is that the sushi selection is a little smaller than other places in Ottawa but I’m assuming that is because of the Dim Sum which takes up 40% of the menu. I totally recommend this place!
