Having vacationed in the area for over 10 years, I can attest the the choice of hangouts was limited. This new cool place is located about 5 min drive from the Stoneham ski resort, and opened last March, and just this week opened in the day for lunch. The house which houses this Irish pub newcomer use to be Mr Dunn’s residence on the golf course. It was scheduled to be demolished when some young entrepreneurial minds decided to relocate it to a spot across the street and turn it into an Irish pub. The place is really quite pretty, just of the main road into the ski village and located across the street from the golf course. On the day we visited(for a quick drop in in the afternoon, to be repeated had beer wine and a cocktail), they had just opened and not too many clients are in the know about it being opened. The menu is standard Pub food with a sprinkling of Irish fair standard. The prices seem reasonable enough and the staff is friendly. I will update about the food but would like other Unilocalers who may be in the Stoneham ski resort area to look out for this new venture which will hopefully provide a much needed change to the dining/hangout options for the area.
