Atomic Pizza & Donair

Best place for pizza in stony plain. My favorite is the donair pizza. They also have a good 2for1 deal. Stay away from the pasta, I was very disappointed in their spaghetti and meatballs.

Middle of the road.
Stopped by tonight while heading to the mountains.
Busy spot which indicates they are a favorite in the community.
Was really tempted to order a pizza as they did seem popular, but had to stick with a donair.
Ordered a Super for $ 10.
Good size.
Sweet sauce has a nice garlic edge to it.
Fresh veggies and well seasoned meat.

The bad…
Well the whole place is cold.
It’s small, and open on back side to a mall of some sort. The single door opening floods the entire place with cold air (it is of course winter as I review). For some reason though, both my friend and I noticed that the meat in our donairs seemed to perpetuate this chill. It was luke warm like the store.
All in all, given the lack of options in Stony Plain, it is no surprise this place is popular.
But as donairs go… it is average.

My opinion (along with my wife and kids) these folks serve up the best pizza and Donairs in the Tri area.
The pizza is always cooked perfectly, nice golden brown cheese.
The Donairs as well… hands down the best in the area. The meat is shaved very thin which I prefer, the ingredients are fresh. Just excellent.
The staff seem happy to have your buisness even when they are busy.
Only thing I could ask for is air conditioning when I eat in.
Excellent little spot.

I was told the donairs here were the best by locals when I moved here. They were incorrect. Not much flavor to these and pretty plain overall. I guess I’ll drive to the city for a Donair.

Best Pizza in Stony Plain. Friendly staff. Definitely the place to get dinner if you don’t feel like cooking.
