This is a first class food store for a small town of 40,000. Good produce, prepared food counter, fresh fish and cheese, and well priced hard goods. Ethnic items include Portuguese, Asian, and East Indian, plus Mexican. Not so good for Caribbean or pan-Mediterranean. No African. Good household items too, but I don’t get clothing there. I have a niece who picks up half price kids clothes there and likes it. The butcher counter is luxurious and pricey, but every week there are AAA Angus specials at about $ 7/lb. No other store nearby has AAA beef let alone low pricing. They price match the competitors’ flyers, so you can get lots of specials. Customer Service is friendly and helpful, unlike the other stores here. They speak S.C.O.P. here, handling overcharges properly with a smile. I go there once a week, armed with flyers, and I’m amazed at my shopping every time.
