Real Canadian Superstore (Loblaw’s RCSS) in Strathroy is the best in class.
I find more high quality items, like AAA beef, fresh fish, ethnic staples, health and organic, etc.
Always a treasure hunt, too. I found a half price Tiger rice maker, much better than their own PC brand. I have had good luck with half price cheese and 30% off meat, mark downs.
They will price match things in competing flyers, even their own bargain basement No Frills, which is in Glencoe.
Their gas bar gives me a $ 2.50 voucher to be used in any Loblaw, Independent, Fortino, Zehr, or No Frills so that’s a no brainer.
The more experienced staff, especially butchers, or customer service, or the big guy (manager who is always on the floor), are very helpful and an asset to the community.
