La Casa Mexicana

Friendly service. Very authentic mexican food. I dont understand the comments regarding the lack of flavour — every time I have eaten here it has been delicious. Perhaps the other reviewers have had too much taco bell in their lives.

I have never been disappointed. Fresh and excellent quality ingredients. Everyone loves Mexican!

Don’t let the bright colors deceive you because the food was brown crap, in a metaphorical sense.
Sudbury is the most ass-​backwards place I have ever been to, and I have been to many places all over the world.
For me, Sudbury was a cross between the setting of a David Lynch film, the 1950s, a blue-​collar hell hole, and a land devoid of color and glee.
Having said this, the bright colors and the festive music of La Casa Mexicana attracted me in.
The server was very friendly and had a smile. She was also prompt. No problems with the service.
The food, however, was bland. But let’s face it, i knew Mexican food in the middle of a damn coal mining town would probably not offer an explosion of happiness in my mouth. But the food didn’t make me sick, so that is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1.
Also, the prices were too high.
I guess it was my best choice for food in the area, because the only other crap I could find was fast food (yuck). But if you can find other restaurants, I would highly recommend you try one of them over this place.

I have been here twice, once a while ago and once recently. I forgot how bad it was which I guess is why I went back. But I wish I would have saved my money.
I find this food very bland and lacking flavour. Even with the salsas and asking for extra sauce afterwards it still was not appealing to the pallet. My favorite thing of the entire meal was the guacamole.
I think what burns me the most is that I paid and arm and a leg for the food. Even a vegetarian meal is $ 17.99. When my bill is over $ 20 without a drink, I am far from impressed.
Just as an aside, the place has been dead the two times I have been. There has only been my party of two and one other party. It is possible that this a reflection of the food and service.
