My experience with Little India was only through takeout; I have never set foot in the restaurant. Pros: — Decent veggie appetizer platter. I’d recommend ordering two if you’re looking to feed 3 or more people. — Great butter naan! Again, if you’re feeding more than two people, you’re better off with at least two orders. — Pricing is not bad. Cons: — If you’re considering delivery, be aware that the restaurant employs an independent delivery service– this means you could be waiting upwards of 30 minutes for your food. I’d like to try more from this restaurant at some point — their online menu looks pretty enticing!

Probably the best butter chicken that I ever had. Chicken was really moist. Had this dish with rice. Not bad for a town like Sudbury. Yet to try the other dishes…

THEBEST food, quiet and romantic atmosphere, always fresh ingredients, made fresh and hot. The buffet on Friday is unbelievable… The best restaurant in all of Sudbury! Amazing.

Food is great but why did they stop offering the lunch buffets? It has turned our work crowd right off of that place and down the street to Indian Summer. The worst part of it was the explanation, «Due to rising food costs we have stopped offering our lunch buffet.» Hmm, why not just raise the cost by a buck or two? I know our group wouldn’t have a problem. Instead of paying $ 12 for the buffet we sat down and paid $ 15 for one plate of butter chicken and got none of the variety we would normally have for less. It just makes no sense for our group to come back. It’s too bad too as it’s a nice environment in there: roomy and lots of room to sit down. A shame.

I’m indian and can handle spicy hot foods quite well. We sat down here and asked for medium, they gave us a scale of 1 to 10 and I said 5. The food that arrived was so ridiculously hot that none of us could eat more than 3 bites without having to drink a glass of water, so I complained, and they gave me yogurt, which didn’t really help cool things down either. To top it off they charged me for the yogurt on my bill. So if you absolutely do have to eat here and they ask you how hot you want your food, please tell them mild and hot or medium, otherwise you probably will not have an enjoyable experience. Prices here are higher than they should be for the quality of food. Panner(Indian Cottage Cheese) is non-existant here, they use Ricotta cheese, I’m assuming because its easier to buy Ricotta cheese at the grocery store rather than make your own paneer, which makes this less authentic than the other indian restaurant in town. Parking is not free here during the week.
