Pretty well-​run league, and depending on what you want from it, there’s some fun and novelty (at least for me) in playing a different format instead of the traditional 5 on 5, the only league of its kind at least in the Lower Mainland.
Having played about 3 times now here, it does take time to the smaller ice surface and different strategies. Icing is allowed so you really have to be aware who’s out there but it’s easier to cover someone, even if you’re an average skater, especially for defencemen covering laterally.
And if you get a penalty, there’s a shootout but the penalized player still has to sit in the penalty box for the standard 2 minutes lol.
Some really skilled players here too.
