Amazing little store that sells all sorts of delicious things, from organic vegetables and fruits, tons of gluten free options including bread that doe not taste like a brick, vegan options and amazing vegan cheese. Yes this is a place to go, even if you live in Vancouver, it is totally worth the drive! Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I would shop there all the time if I lived close by…

My fav little Organics place with all sorts of cool food items that the other grocers don’t have. This is where I go for coconut bread baked in the Okanagan. Simply the best!!! Oops can’t forget the Maca Cinnamon spread… yum!!! Lovely on freshly cut apples, smoothies, pancakes… we can’t live without it. Best part of this store is the customer service… simply the friendliest group… Jason, Suzanne etc… their knowledge of food is amazing! I like to ask Jason for advice on various items… corn, GMOs. He’s a human book! LOL!

I just got back from this place. A friend had mentioned that it had a good selection of gluten free items at reasonable prices. I looked around and selected two items, one being a gluten free barbecue sauce. While paying the person taking my money asked me what I was going to put the sauce on. I replied«chicken wings.» She then gave me a stunned look and said«Vegan and vegetarian, that’s hard, I’m going to think about that.» I was puzzled. The sign on the window said«Antony & Sons, Inspiring food.» As I walked out the door the clerk shouted«Vegan and vegetarian!» When I arrived home I took a look at their website. I had imagined it being more on the militant vegan side. Instead the home page talks about the owner’s transition in diet and way of thinking about food, spurred on by a love for food and battle with Crohn’s disease. It’s really unfortunate that the store was so badly represented by their employee. After all, statistically the chances are that if you are buying BBQ sauce it’s going to be going on some meat. Maybe next time just don’t ask.

This is one of those stores that have an incredible neighbourly feel to it. They strive to carry local produce and products. They have an incredible selection of fine loose teas, spices, salts, and organic and gluten free products. They are, the accessible, down-to-earth, small scale version of Whole Foods. I’ve spoken to the owners Jason and Linda and both are so nice. I’m a huge coffee nut and I suggested Jason sample some roasted beans from my favourite roaster. The next time I went in, he told me he had them and ran home(okay, he drove a few minutes) to get them. That was the third time I had met him. I would think really hard about doing something like that for my wife let alone a customer I met for the third time. In a nutshell, customer service, knowledge and friendliness is all off the scale. But aside from that, some the reasons I go back: — chocolate chips for baking — balsamico de modena — fine Earl Grey tea — chrysanthemum flowers for tea — organic matcha — miso — smoked salt — organic pal sugar Just trying to illustrate that when I need something obscure, they have it. And you’d think that after all this time, I shouldn’t be surprised that they do have what I’m looking for and yet every time I walk in I find myself doing a double take.

This grocery store is perfectly lovely. It’s small but well stocked including product from many local suppliers. Linda was so warm and welcoming and even walked me to my car. A definite gem.
