This place has terrible service… the staff is rude(most barely speak english!) and if you show up at 4:45(when they close at 5:00) with more than a small bag they wont let you in! Also after coming here for years due to no other option I have also come to the conclusion(as someone else mentioned) that they will mis-count and rip you off if you don’t pay attention. There is a new Return It Depot at 140th and 32nd Ave and the staff their is super friendly and helpful. My daughter and I showed up with a van full as she is fundraising for rugby and not only did they help us unload our vehicle but they helped us sort as well to speed things up. They also give you double the return for beer cans… the one on 24th only gives you 5 cents per can and here they give you 10 cents! Worth it just for that!

Just a warning that their hours of operation are very limited. I had to come here to drop off some paint cans as our office in the middle of a physical move and we needed a safe place to take our paint cans. For bottles I would still recommend the major bottle depots that have counters so that you know that they accept everything and that you will be paid for everything. There are only a few paint can depots around and this was the nearest location at the time.

They’re quick in processing your bottles and cans but you have to keep an eye on them — I swear their math is off. Plus I thought it’s a rip off that they don’t refund you for US bottles/cans — but then a friend reminded me that the deposit wasn’t paid in Canada. Whatever. But at the end of the day what’s a few nickels? And it’s a bottle depot — I do have it in perspective.
