This would be a much better pub if they traded in the bud towers for a half decent craft beer selection. Get with the times, guys– fat tug is your only craft-ish beer, and even it is like that song you’ve heard on the radio so much you’re sick of it… Very friendly staff though

We go to the OP all the time and are very very disappointed. Our Greek salad was a soup of dressing and not edible. After spending 60 dollars for the family I need to go get dinner now again exactly what I didn’t want to do Don’t take out.

I love coming to Ocean Park Pizza! The food is always pretty good, good but slightly expensive beer, and it’s close to home! Tough to find a seat on a Friday or Saturday night, but that’s to be expected. They’re one of the only places I know of around here that has Kronenbourg Blanc on tap, and that’s a major plus. I’ve had a variety of items on the menu, including pizzas, greek food, pastas, and a couple of their appetizers. You can’t really go wrong with anything on their menu. Only downside is that the garlic cream sauce with pastas is a bit greasy but that can be easily solved by choosing another sauce or ordering something that is not pasta. Would highly recommend, will probably be back sometime this upcoming week!

Have eaten here several times. Friendly staff. Okay drinks. Good Greek food. The rest is so so. Slow and inefficient service. If you’re hungry and want to eat… go somewhere else. If you want a few drinks before your salad arrives, you’re set. Pizza isn’t anything special either. Sorry folks, if you’ve travelled outside of White Rock any fool knows there’s better places to spend your money.

My wife and I Have been coming here for years on and off but except for their pizza the food is below average. Nothing seems homemade or super fresh. The seafood salad is boxed greens with a few pieces of grilled fish and a bottled balsamic dressing.(Much better value at other local higher end restaurants) We ONLY go for their pizza and a beer. They have crappy drink specials and a so-so beer selection compared to what’s out there now. Really the ONLY reason we ever go back(and many of our friends) is because it’s close and unfortunately it seems like they take advantage of that. The staff is great but not enough to make up for the so-so food.

Pizza here is great. Prices are in range. Service is usually good. It helps if you go with a large group to help out serving staff by trying to plan on your needs and requests for the first visit so there are not too many returns to table required. Today, we had excellent service from Kenzie and would enjoy being served by her again.

Stopped for drinks w my sisters. One sister got the ocean park signature drink and said it was too sweet, so she ordered a Caesar after to balance it out. My other sister also got a Caesar and it had too much Worcestershire, but the waitress was very friendly and accommodating and fixed it for free. Overall it was a friendly, laid back atmosphere, staff was nice and drinks as prices were reasonable. Nothing extraordinary to warrant a high rating though.

Quite possible the best pizza in Metro Vancouver. The pizza reminds of the pizzas of the 1980’s before the low quality 2 for 1 pizza craze took off. The crust is always perfectly cooked, sauce is exceptionally good and the toppings are very generous. I have eaten in and taken out. Always delicious.

This is the third and will be the final time I will visit this establishment. I came in the other night to place a take out order. The waitress was friendly and had a good attitude. She took my order of one small pizza and said that it would be ready in no time at all. So I waited and waited and waited for 40 minutes. Finally I asked another employee to check on my food. After walking into the back this gentlemen promptly returned with my order. I asked was it just sitting on the counter. He was unsure, so he checked the order and confirmed that it had been sitting there for 10 minutes. Why I wasn’t told it was ready when they knew I was waiting for it is beyond me. The man who was dealing with the situation was very understanding and helpful. He offered to make me another pizza which I promptly declined. At this point I was hungry and disappointed enough to not want to be there anymore. So he assured that I would have a complimentary pizza the next time I return. I let my wife know where she can get a free pizza. I am a huge pizza guy and I can’t understand for the life of me why people rave about the pizza at this place. There is nothing fresh or delicious about it. The quality is more like food court day olds or some gross pizza by the slice joint on Hastings St. There are several other options that make a way better pie. Look up Bucky’s Pizzeria for a quality pizza.

I have eaten here 4 times and every time the food has been mediocre. Everyone raves about the pizza but honestly I can name 10 other places that do it better. I think food wise they can only stay in business since they are the only pub in the area, that is the only reason I can come up with. I don’t like spending hard earned money on bad food. The greek dish I had was below average, the shepards pie is below average. The fish and chips were way below average.

Every time I stop in I enjoy myself. The food is consistently very good(Greek Salad is amazing) and the staff is helpful, fun and efficient. Good selection of beer(personally I would like to see Richard’s Red added to the draft selection… it may be worth an extra star… just saying… LOL) with a mix of food that will please most tastes. The facility is clean and the parking is plentiful and safe. Drop by and give it a try!

(twentytwo/thirty) It doesn’t seem so incredibly long ago that I was just a White Rock hoodlum living in a weird little apartment above Subway, partying at my much-loved place of employment, and then shaking off my hangover at the OP Pub the next day around noon. Considering the other booby traps hiding in plain sight, and littered all along the strip(and everywhere else in the area, let’s be honest), this place is a decent lunch spot. Kind of pricey, but with the area in mind, it kind of goes without saying. Good pizza, good pasta, good appies, good drinks. There’s a section to the left when you walk in that’s all ages, but the rest of the pub is nineteen plus. I’ve had some crappy waitresses here and there, but overall, good service and good food. Carolyn’s ultimate green-gills cure: seafood penne with garlic bread, and that alone is enough to keep me coming back.

think beer/wings, skip the pizza(it’s not good, i would rate a domino’s pizza better than what i’ve eaten at OPP) also skip the burgers and gimmicky appetizers that taste about as fresh a one would expect from the deep freeze

I could very easily give this place 2 stars but the pizza alone carried my 4 star rating. Coffee was terrible. Fish and chips that my wife and 3 year old shared was… very, very average. I just think food at this place is an afterthought — with their main focus on beers. However, we were in the neighbourhood and needed a bite to eat. I saw in their menu they had three, 1 line reviews for their pizza. One from the Vancouver Sun, one from the Province and another… can’t remember where from proclaiming this to be one of the best pizza’s in the city. I was skeptical but nothing else really caught my eye. Ordered a pepperoni and true enough… it was very good. I don’t like a lot of pizza because I think I do a fine job of it at home — I roll my own dough for simple, thing Italian style pizza. Italian pizza this is not. It has lots of cheese, spicy pepperoni, very flavourful and pronounced, dare I say, home made tomato sauce and excellent dough. Again, not a big fan of North American pizza’s but this one was very tasty and I do recommend it. Went well with a pint of Kilkenny. Reasonably priced — a small 10″(8 slices) is $ 11.
