I noticed that this place had bad reviews, but I had a gift card so I figured I would try it out and I was so impressed! I had a gel manicure and she did a fantastic job! Probably better than I’ve ever had before!
Went back again the other day and she wasn’t there but I had another gel manicure with another employee and it was also really well done!
Anyway, I haven’t had a pedicure here and I probably won’t because I don’t like the idea of sitting on couches for a pedi (I prefer a chair that is higher up – less awkward on the legs) but I will for sure keep coming back for the gel pedis!

The worst place to get a manicure & pedicure! I got both done, the following night, my polish started chipping off. I kept looking at my nails in disbelief because I have never encountered such a problem.
I will never ever go back! What a waste of money!

Today my girlfriend went in for a simple manicure, instead she was told her nails were too thin and simply received a polish removal– a service advertised at $ 5. Fortunately for Pure nail salon, their debit machine was down which she was conveniently made aware of after the service was completed. Instead, she had to walk a block down to the nearest ATM take out $ 20 and return. Upon return she was greeted with the news that her total was $ 35, which warranted another trip to the ATM. On the phone Pure nail salon denied all responsibility claiming they gave her the manicure, do they think she can’t tell if her finger nails have a manicure or not?

I have visited many of Pures locations and have generally found them to be pretty good– I’ve never left unhappy with a service. I went into this location last week (mid day, mid week) and had a mani pedi combo. Separate girls worked on my fingers and toes, and while my pedicure was fine, my manicure was not. The polish was thickly applied and bubbled and then ended up chipping the same night. I could have done a much better job painting them myself, which is always frustrating when paying for a service. In hindsight I probably should have complained at the time, but next time I think i’ll just skip the polish all together.
