Surdell-Kennedy Taxi

I have used a lot of cabs in the past but after this experience I’m not sure I’ll be using this cab company until one of their employees are gone.
Last night my friend called for 5 cabs to pick us up from my friend’s house after a long night of partying. (We we’re all going to different locations). The dispatcher (male) had not problem with it at all and said the cabs would be there in 15 – 20 minutes. 10 minutes later the first cab showed up and my first friend got into it. 5 minutes after that another one came and my other friend went into that one. 10 minutes later no other can showed up.
My friend who originally made the called calls back to see when the other cabs would arrive and that’s when the lady («M») answered. She was really rude in the beginning. We were trying to figure out the address and I heard her say «can you hurry up I’m busy.» Lady your with a client, a potential money maker, be patient it wasn’t even a minute. Then she said that their was no cabs coming to address we gave her. And that she wasn’t allowed to send more than one cab to a number (Mind you the first guy said it was okay) which my friend explained to her, but Maggie told her she was wrong. My friend was furious and asked her not to make her out as a liar. «M» snapped back at her and then when my friend tried to order another 2 cabs she hung up on her!!!
This is unacceptable, «M“I will be calling your boss Monday morning to complain about you, along with my 8 other friends who has to deal with you. This is not the first time people have complained about her too. Even some f the cab drivers have complaints about you. She sends them to the wrong location or sends them very late which makes the customers mad at the cab drivers which isn’t fair to them.
Besides all that drama my cab driver was amazing. A very good and honest person. He got me to my house in record time.

I used Surdell from vancouver airport may 21 and the driver overcharged me on the flat rate. It was supposed to be $ 29 and he charged me $ 30! He would not budge. It was very early in the am after an overnight flight so I was too tired to argue. I have notified the company and also customer service at YVR.

My friend’s tire was flat on the highway at 6:15 pm yesterday and she had her bike blinkers on and was obviously visible. The cab drove by her twice. A call was made to the taxi company and the driver was not apologetic, nor did he bother to actually look for my friend.
