Umberto’s Flowers

I placed an order online on a Saturday night with a Monday delivery. Angleo called me on Sunday morning (his day off) and informed me of a BC holiday on Monday so the shop would be closed. I was fine with a Tuesday deliver but since it was an arrangemeant going to the local hospital he offered to put something together immediately and drop it off the same day! Angelo went above and beyond with this order and I am forever grateful. Exceptional customer service and beautiful flowers. I highly recommend Umberto’s!

Ordered flowers for Mothers Day (same day delivery was available as per their website). After ordering and paying through my mastercard, the shop was called to confirm. The girl who answered asked for the address and name the flowers were for and stated it would be delivered in the afternoon.
My husband called them around 6 to check if they had delivered yet. The girl said that they dont take orders online.
This is strange as we had called and confirmed after placing the order… and I was sent an order confirmation in my email
I now need to check my mastercard statement to see if the payment went through or not.
I was offered an upgrade on my flowers and next day delivery as they don’t have time today. How do you know what flowers I chose if you aren’t accepting orders online? Also, mothers day isn’t tomorrow, it’s today. I’m sure they had enough time for one more delivery.

The first & last time I had ordered flowers from Umberto’s I was very disappointed. The flowers that the recipient got was sloppy and not well arranged that it did not even look close to what I had requested. I was assured that my international order will also be prioritized in the morning yet they were delivered at the end of the day when I had placed this order two weeks ahead of time. I had to call several times to follow up And when I had called to complain for the last time, the guy hung up so rude. They were nice staff but the overall experience was horrible. What a mess!

Umberto’s was a great help to me recently. A young father passed away, and I needed to send flowers to a Memorial Service on Monday. But I hadn’t found out about the service until late Sunday. I phoned Umberto’s shortly after they opened Monday morning and they were very accommodating. The service was at 3:00 and they guaranteed that they would have my flowers there at least an hour early.
I had seen an arrangement on their website but I said I’d be happy with anything appropriate. They asked me for a budget and said they’d give me the best arrangement possible for that amount. I was very pleased with the result. The arrangement was fresh, beautiful and larger than I expected.
I highly recommend Umberto’s. They went out of their way to deliver excellent service and product.

I ordered flowers for my moms birthday using the FDT online website. They were suppose to be delivered on Wednesday but she didn’t receive them until Saturday, when they left the bouquet in her driveway. The FDT consultant informed me she would receive a fee upgrade since they were not delivered when it was scheduled. I paid 90.00 $ for these flowers and my mom sent me a photo of her bouquet which consisted of 4 roses and a handful of daisies and carnations. I fully understand that bouquets can’t always be exact to the online picture but I did expect that they would at least use the same flowers as in the photo. It was suppose to be a FULL beautiful bouquet of sunflowers, as well as about 4 other flowers. What she received I could have picked up from Safeway for 10 $. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with they service and will no longer use them or the FTD service.

I called Umbertos on Feb 13^th to order some flowers for a funeral which had to be delivered on Friday Feb 14^th before 1 in the afternoon. They were so gracious and accommodating in their response and while I wont know what the flowers were like I am giving 5 stars for service which was beyond impressive given I was ordering something on the day before Valentines day to be delivered on Valentines day! They couldn’t have been nicer

I like supporting a small, local business and Umberto’s is one of them. The owner seemed like a really nice guy and he made recommendations when I went in to get a gift for my friend.
I bought a pre decorated flower in a round vase and it was quite unique and my friend really liked it.
I would definitely come back again for my future flower needs.

Best florist in White Rock/​South Surrey! Young family owned business, third generation florists. Angelo and Morgan are flower artists They love what they do and it shows! They made me the most beautiful boutonnière and corsage at the last minute, stayed after closing and really cared about creating something special for me. Great experience, great service and great quality flowers.
