One of the last standing non 3D theatres. I guess that’s why it’s so cheap. Paid $ 30 for 2 tickets, xlarge popcorn and large drink. Deal! But I guess you pay for what you get. It’s not exactly cleanest or most comfortable seats but it can do! I would still come back as I don’t always like watching movies in 3D and it’s cheap!

This theatre looks like its seen better days. The décor is that of how theatres looks in the 1980s. Not stadium seating & small theatres. The only good thing about that, its much easier for the mobility challenged like my dad & mom-in-law to get around because there are no stairs. Just a gently sloping floor. The seats were okay, I sat there for a two hour movie & my butt didn’t fall asleep. LOL. Though I do think for the amount of viewing rooms in this theatre they need bigger washrooms. There was a line out the women’s washroom.

Location: 1 Promenade Circle Thornhill Price: $ When you have a hole in your pocket, this is one of the gems you can go for entertainment. Over the years their priced increased but it is still cheaper than other theaters(aka Silver City)… I usually go to Rainbow Cinema when it’s a movie that I don’t want to watch in IMAX or other movies that have really fancy effects. On Tuesday, it is only $ 5 for a movie no matter the age(as I call it inclusivity Tuesdays). It is a cute place to go on dates, bring children, or a lonely day at the theaters. Verdict: Gem

Cheap prices but you pay for it with poor sound and image quality. Needs a renovation soon.
