By far the best haircut I’ve ever received. Allan is meticulous, patient and knows his stuff. I came in with a terrible previous haircut and he fixed it without issue. If you haven’t tried him, you’re missing out.

Overpriced. Charged me $ 67 for a basic blow dry and Allen touched my hair for two minutes and an assistant did the rest. His only other contribution was disagreeing with me when I asked to have my hair flat ironed as he was doing the person next to me’s hair. Wanted to love this place since I just moved 5 minutes away and the massaging chairs are a nice touch but when any other salon charges $ 30 – 40 it’s hard to justify paying more than double for the same thing/nothing special. Will keep going to my regular spots despite the convenience of this location.

This salon is as good as it gets. I will solemly back this place with my whole head of hair. I first came across this salon earlier this spring for a haircut by one of the junior stylists and I was very impressed. Then I came back for ombré or bayalage, but since my previous stylist left, I was seen by Allan. I was blown away with how easily and effortlessly Allan makes hair look so good. He’s all about volume and if you want to feel like a Victoria’s Secret model, he can easily do so with his hands. What motivated me to write this review was how Allan was able to fix my horrible«chinatown discount haircut» where I thought there was no hope for my lack of hair. Allan gave me texture and length when it seemed impossible and gave me back my bangs. I still think that $ 150 haircut(by Allan) and $ 300 bayalage is a bit pricey for me, but after my horrible discount haircut, I’ve learned my lesson and will save up for my next visit.

Hands down to this place. I’ve been having bad hair days for too long. I decided to go there based on reviews I found on google. I am VERY impressed. I just said my hair had no volume– every since I had my baby it’s just ugh. That’s all I had to say! I came out of there feeling sexy. The cut gave me lots of volume and now I have beautiful black supermodel hair. It’s worth every dollar and I’m definitely going back.

My experience with this salon started off well. The first time I went I was treated like a superstar by both the staff & the owner. The stylist did a wonderful job dyeing and cutting my hair, and I left happy. I had about three appointments with her and booked a 4th, and that’s when everything went downhill. I arrived at my 4th appointment and told them I had an appointment with my usual stylist. At this point the man behind the counter seemed to search through the computer, looking confused, and then informed me that my usual stylist no longer worked there. It became apparent to me, very quickly, that they had not assigned my appointment to another stylist, and I was just kind of «there» and nobody knew what to do with me. I was left in a chair alone for a while until a stylist came over and rushed to dye my roots. When it was done processing I was moved to the sink by a different stylist who washed my hair out and then left me there for at least 30 minutes. I sat with my head in the sink, waiting and waiting, unable to move, with my hair soaking wet. Everyone was busy with other clients, and each time I was able to lift my head a little and glance around the room I saw the owner chatting with another woman. He never gave me a single glance. It was like I didn’t exist. Finally another stylist quickly dried my hair and rushed me into a chair, blew my hair dry(not styled, just dried it), never asked if I wanted a trim(which I was initially scheduled for) and then I was hurried on my way. I was passed around between 3 different stylists whenever they had a spare 30 seconds, ignored completely by the owner who was just chatting, and spent the best part of 3 hours just sitting and waiting for someone to remember I was there. I was mostly ignored the entire time, and felt completely inconvenient to the salon staff. I was treated quite rudely, despite the fact that it was their error that led to this chaos. I would have preferred if they’d just told me they were fully booked and apologized for not having assigned me another stylist. I realize that they did not want to lose my business that day, but after this experience they lost it permanently. I haven’t been back since, and will never return.

While the their cuts had always been pleasing, I found myself arguing over the price of the colour and cut(that suddenly increased by $ 40) — for a salon that already charges $ 280 before tip & tax for a colour and cut I found it too be a little over the top. Speaking to co-workers that used to frequent the place as well, I wasn’t the only client running into it. I haven’t returned since, and neither have they.

VIBE Very chic. White and sparkly all around. You feel like you’re part of the cool club even if you’re not. But the staff make you feel welcome right away. And if you’re super nice, they may even give you a beer. Best. Salon. Everrrr. Allan is such a personality. He sings arias and Elvis songs to me and always makes me laugh. If you get him to cut your hair, you’re lucky. He’s been in the game for a very long time. I GET Cut and highlights. Every time they nail it. Is it expensive? Yes. But if I’m getting my hair cut and I’m doing it once a year, I’ll pay the price to have it done right. I always always get compliments on my colour after it’s done.(I learned my lesson from Mad Factory on a cut that didn’t grow out properly). OBLIGATORY Save your lucky pennies and get your hair done here. Great service. Great styling. They know what they’re doing. Plus, when anyone is booked, these guys make room for you.

This is a great salon, with massaging chairs. I started to write this review the day I got my haircut(i have to say it was a lovely experience, the cut turned out well, and 3 days later it still looks great, in spite on my personal styling habits,(I’m not a big hair product user), and I like to «wash and go» most of the time. The colour looks great(greys covered — check!). Although it was a great experience, it’s on the pricey side, and they didn’t really honour the new customer advertising of getting half off the cut, when you book a colour. I booked a haircut in a few months, so we’ll see if they honour, the book now save 20% on the next cut advertising they have. Definitely a great

My friend came here when she was having a bad day. She said, «I’m going to a party tonight and I’m going to see a boy that I’m mad at». With that, the hairdresser whipped out a can of hairspray and said with confidence, «Ok, you need Victoria’s Secret model hair». She delivered; I saw the photos. Of course, I had to try the place out myself. And I gotta say… Five stars all around for haircut, service and experience! Haircut: Four inches off. Layers all around. Bangs«cleaned up». Moroccan oil. Hairspray, but just enough that it was bouncy, not crunchy. Lot of other products I’ve never heard of before. Service: Very thorough. They took my coat. I wore a cool smock. The hairdresser examined my hair. We determined what I wanted. She made great suggestions. She washed my hair. It felt good. No drip drops on me. MASSAGINGCHAIRS. Haircut didn’t take epically long and I have long hair. Conversation was easy. The haircut was exactly what we discussed. She made sure it was everything I wanted along the way. Paying and tipping was not awkward. 20% off the next thing I wanted if I booked it then and there but I didn’t but you could. My coat materialized again and a woman helped me put it on. Experience: I strutted out of that place. Possibly the best and most satisfying haircut of my life. I was the Victoria’s Secret model.
