Most people will pass by without noticing Ambsale, as this Ethiopian restaurant is located in a small basement complex with nothing more to mark it than a subtle sign. The atmosphere here itself is a bit bland(i.e. dilapitdated) and just looks like an abandoned kareoke bar. I organized a gathering here during the winter of 2009 since the owner was very personable and willing to give me a discounted flat rate per person. I can’t: write too much about the food: being the host, I was too distracted making sure everyone else was happy that I didn’t notice what I was eating. It filled the stomach, but nothing stood out for me in particular. Two stars for the food, three stars for the warm servcie.
