Horacio is amazing. He did an excellent job on my haircut. Had a great time at the salon from wash till blow dry. Going back for hair color soon!

I went to this salon walk-in to have a hair cut. They have some promotions for walk-in clients. Horacio was my hair dresser. I asked him to trim my hair and I told him I do not want any layers at the back. He did an awful job on my hair. I ended up to get layers which I did not care anymore. What bothered me was bunch of layers which has been cut uneven and bulky. It feels like I have taken the scissor and has cut off the end of my hairs to force it have layers. No smoothness. He did a good blow dry job and I did not realize how awful my hair was the same day. When I went home and washed it a day after and straighten it with straightener as I always do I was shocked. there was even some strains of my hair longer than all my hair with bunch of chopped layers. All my friends along with my husband ware really surprised about how awful my haircut is. I went back to salon and Claudia greeted me. She looked at my hair and she was surprised as well. She accepted to fix my hair complementary as I did not wanted Horacio to touch my hair. My hair was not fixable totally as it was a real mess but she did an excellent job to make it at least tolerable. She was so nice and professional and did her best to please me. I will go back again because of the good customer service I get when I returned and complained about my haircut but I will make sure not to go near Horacio and just to work with Claudia.

Mimmi gave me a great haircut! I brought in some photos to show her what I wanted and she went to work immediately. She took the time to look at my hair before she got it wet and was careful not to take too much off since this was my first visit to her. She said I could come back within two weeks for an adjustment if I found it was too long but it’s just right. I’ll be back for another haircut with Mimmi very soon.

I went once in the past and got someone named Claudette who did a great job and took care not to trim off too much of my long hair. This time when I went again I did not have as good an experience with someone else. She did a decent haircut but I was angry that she cut off a lot more than I asked for. It’s frustrating because it feels like my hair takes a long time to grow and I want it long.

Had a cut and colour. My hair is blonde but my roots were showing. When I left the colour was light brown– much too dark. The cost was $ 144. I returned 3 days later and mentioned it was too dark so had highlights done. My hair is somewhat lighter but not much and I was charged another $ 147. Not great and expensive– paid $ 300 for something I’m not happy with.

Straight up — best haircut I’ve ever received. As if that wasn’t good enough, the hairdresser(I think her name is Claudia, Italian mum of 3) was an absolute joy to converse with. At roughly $ 28, the price too was just right! As a person who cares a lot about his hair, take it from me, this place is gold and everyone should definitely try it. After all, walk-ins are also discounted.

Andre Pierre sits in the basement of the building I work in so it was only a matter of time before I gave it a try. I walked in on my lunch break without an appointment and they took me in right away. Now I’m not picky when it comes to hair cuts but I do have one golden rule: no electric clippers. It just doesn’t work on my hair, I end up looking like I got hit by a weed wacker. So, when the hair dresser busted out the clippers the second I sat down I knew it was a bad omen. I explained to her that I would prefer if she used scissors but she insisted that they only do «clipper cuts» for men and that I wouldn’t know the difference. Eventually after a couple minutes of friendly negotiation the hair dresser agreed to use the scissors after I said maybe it would be better if I went somewhere else. She was clearly a little annoyed by this but never rude. In the end the it was an alright haircut but I wouldn’t go back. If you’re looking for a quick, cheapish(~$ 25 for men), walk-in cut and don’t fear the clippers then this place could be for you.

Someone suggested I head to the bowels of the Manulife Centre for a quick same-day cut. The perk about this place, especially for those who don’t like to plan for their cut weeks in advance(raising hand), is the discount for walk-in clients. Forget the worm — if you’re an early bird like me, you score a 25% discount on your cut if you get there before 11:30am. The discounts go slightly downhill after, but you’re still saving, either way. On the Saturday I went, the place was busy, but I got in without a wait, and I came out with a decent haircut. Definitely satisfied.
