Mary always makes everyone feel at home. I’ve been going to see Mary for waxing for a couple of years now. First and foremost she is awesome at what she does. She’s fast, efficient, friendly and all together awesome. Esther is also amazing I’ve seen her mani pedis and she Rocks. I’ve also heard she does amazing facials from her clients. I have a very busy schedule and I can honestly say Mary has always managed to fit me in no matter how last minute I’ve called her. The salon is spotless, Mary is super clean, and calm. It gets better, Mary always has great in house deals that are great value. I’ll be with Mary for life, I’ve recommended a few friends to her and they all came out as happy as can be with their experience. I’ll be with Mary for EVER! I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome aesthetician!

I love this place. I’ve been going for 5+ years-​when I lived around the corner. I still will only go here for a wax even though I live downtown now, and even if it takes me a few months to get there.
Mary and Astra are wonderful. They’re both friendly, warm, and really inviting. When you’re there, it feels like you’re visiting friends.
The prices are not even comparable to any of the mediocre places that can be found downtown. What I pay for a full leg, underarm, and a 98% brazilian, is half of one would pay for the same services at most other places in Toronto (downtown).
Just try them out-​you won’t regret your experience!

Having recently moved to Toronto, I have just started to figure out where to go to handle all of my grooming needs. I found someone who can cut and color afro-​ish hair (yes!), an excellent threading salon, and a place close to home to handle my horrible feet. But, I had yet to find a place to wax my unmentionables… or even my mentionables, for that matter. I might have procrastinated a bit, but yeah.
Astra at Bare Me Skin Care was amazing. She was very funny, she was quick, and what she couldn’t get with wax, she attacked with tweezers. Literally. She has many many years under her belt, so you’ll definitely be in good hands. A bonus is that they regularly have the groupon-​like deals for waxing. What should have cost me $ 60 was only $ 22 today. Done and done.
