Benny’s is awesome. Great cut — friendly, unrushed and lots of attention to detail. Great hours too, can get there after work or even on a Sunday. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Benny’s for over 2 years now and have never been disappointed. Both Benny and his son/​nephew are genuinely friendly and courteous as well as being skilled barbers. What more can you ask for? $ 22 for a cut, plus they use a straight razor to shave the back of your neck.

Very friendly service. Normally my hair is cut great.
Unfortunately, last week my barber took scissors and cut a big chunk off the top of my head and now I have to wait a few weeks for it to grow back. My hair looks unproportional now. The haircut time was shorter than usual.

Super friendly service and a great haircut. Benny (I assume?) actually listens to your requests (pretty rare in the *many* barber shops I’ve tried around the city) and works at a relaxed pace, so you don’t feel rushed in the chair. Great guy to chat with but also has no problem with quiet customers.
I’ve been in twice now and only had to wait once (for about 10 minutes), but the TV was on and the shop was warm and relaxed.
Not the cheapest place to find someone to take scissors to your head, but definitely one of the most affordable to find someone who knows what they’re doing! Straight razor cleanup on the back of the neck is a phenomenal finisher as well.
Great place. No hipster nonsense or attitude. Just a solid haircut for a decent price. Consider me a regular from here on in.

I’ve been going to this place approximately every month to month and a half for nearly a year now. The first time I went it was because it happened to be just around the corner from where I lived, but even after I moved I continued to take the subway to Keele to get my hair cut by them.
The two guys who work here are friendly and will give you a nice, clean cut for a good price. I’ve been happy with my haircut every single time and enjoy a good chat with them too. If you become a regular, they’ll remember your face, usual cut, and head shape ;)
