I’m a big fan of binz. I like to make my lunches for work ahead of time/for the work week, freeze them, then take them out of the freezer as needed. I like the fact that they have many different types of containers all in one place, including glass containers of various sizes, containers specifically made to hold your cereal and milk separately, containers designed to hold your salad and salad dressing separately, etc. My most treasured buy was a set of durable plastic cutlery that I keep in my desk at work. I’ve gone back to binz and bought the cutlery 3 separate times because my coworkers keep seeing mine and wanting it. All in all, it’s a fun store with lots of interesting stuff that you didn’t know you needed

This store is a great new addition to Bloor West Village! The store is bright and well laid out with a great selection of unique and stylish products for peoples homes. Plus they have great prices. I can never pull my daughter out of the store as she is always finding«cool» new things she wants to show me. Plus I would rather shop and support a great local store like this than some big and soulless multi-national store.

I am new to BW Village and needed some things for my apartment. I went to Binz last weekend and I’ve got to say that it was not a pleasant experience. I was ready to spend whatever on some things for my new place. I asked one of the staff(a dark-skinned woman with wild hair), to show me a few items. She seemed extremely confused about what I had asked her and I needed to explain at length what I was looking for. Most of the things I wanted were not in stock(humidifier, shower curtain and a butter dish). She offered to take my name and number and would call me and let me know when they would be available. But she said she wasn’t sure how long it would be before they came in, probably 2 – 3 weeks! I can’t wait that long. She didn’t seem to care at all that practically nothing I needed was in stock. I decided to leave and not even buy the few things they did have that I needed. I will not return to Binz.

Binz has all the boxes you could want. And that’s about it. Unless you dig«Fred» merchandise. They have a lot of that. And it’s fun. It’s almost that the store doesn’t know what it wants to be — but that’s fine. They have some good stuff. The prices are what you’d expect for a Bloor West Village shop though. And that’s rarely a good thing for those without deep pockets.

You would think being new on the street they would be nicer to potential customers!!! Walked in at 7:05pm, within seconds the cashier yells out at me «excuse me!!! We are actually closed!!! But u can look around if u want» Meanwhile there’s at least 6 – 7 people browsing all stopped to look at me. No thanks. Annoying.
