Service: I went during an odd time, and there was only a few tables. It took a little bit over average time to get served and our food. Ambiance: The restaurant has a good number of seats inside and on the patio, but you might want to go early as I heard the line gets crazy at times. Food: They have a good selection of craft beers and food items for you to try. If you have a big group you can try a large selection of their menu and share. Just beware that portions are small, it may seems like a steal at a few dollars for each item, but it will add up! I was also a bit disappointed at the food, as it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Hmm, they’ve recently blacked out the doors and shuttered the windows. Hard to tell if it’s even still open…

Gord and I met at Broncos for supper this evening after he finished his workday. It opened in June and we’ve been meaning to get there. Broncos opens at 4pm on most days and we got there about 4:20pm. They have a good selection of craft beer, which Gord enjoyed. They have a popcorn machine and a fresh batch was made right after we got there. Yum! Their food menu consists of sliders and sides. Gord got two sliders and an order of onion rings … Fish Taco slider(without avocado) … he liked this one … and Mac ‘n Cheese slider … he loved this one. I got two sliders … Buffalo Fried Chicken slider(without lettuce) … it was okay … Pulled Pork slide(without cole slaw) … I really liked this one. David was our server. He was friendly and took good care of us. We’ll be back!

So my brother and I showed up on a Sunday morning right at 11:00, the advertised opening time. The sign on the door said 11:30, so we figured we’d try to get a table at Beast. Beast was insanely crowded, as usual, so we returned to Broncos just after 11:30 and the place was empty. It remained empty for the hour or so that we were there. We wound up getting a handful of sliders. The one I was most curious about was the Elvis, which is topped with peanut butter, sliced banana, and bacon. The peanut butter was melted so it basically became like a sauce and I have to say, this was seriously delicious. The Nashville Hot Chicken is essentially a very generous piece of deep-fried white meat atop a bottom bun. It’s spicy and piping hot, and quite delicious. The Fried Green Tomato is indeed a fried green tomato served with pimento cheese(the Cadillac of cheeses!) and shredded iceberg lettuce. Again, it was served hot and fresh and was very tasty. Also good was the Pittsburgh, which comes topped with roast brisket, provolone, fries, and coleslaw. This sounds like a mess and it was certainly a challenge to eat, but all the ingredients worked beautifully together. We also ordered the fries, which were certainly above average(although they arrived to the table lukewarm). The only misfire was the Mexican Torta, which comes with roasted pork, avocado, crema, and a spiced bun. On paper it sounds delicious, but the execution was just mediocre(at best). None of the flavors really stood out and the roasted pork was dry as hell. I should also mention I had a flight of three beers, which comes to $ 6. It’s a fantastic option for people who want beer but don’t want to get too tipsy.

If you’re looking for a tiny burger to make you look like a big guy, Bronco’s is the place for you. This place has EVERYTHING: dumbfounded servers, full blown sonic assault, a table full of dudes with visors, and some good old fashioned grifting. Toronto’s hottest tiny burger club is designed so that every surface amplifies sound and bounces it back to your cowering eardrums. There’s even a secret password in this bar. It’s ‘bourbon’. Just don’t try using it on the wait staff — they’ve never heard of it. When you finally get your cheque, don’t forget to play, «am I being robbed?» You know, it’s that thing where the server charges an 18% auto-gratuity for a party of four but doesn’t say anything when each person adds a tip and when you confront her about the auto-gratuity and double tips she says ‘it’s an honest mistake’ but then still doesn’t offer to refund any of your money and just stands there looking like a frightened street kid who got caught pick pocketing. Parking can be hard to find in this neighbourhood, but at Bronco’s they let you park right on the sidewalk!

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. Had the Pittsburgh and the pork belly one. The Pittsburgh was OK. The pork belly was awesome. They craft beer was refreshing. Will be back to enjoy more slides. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros: All sliders consumed were delicious, friendly staff, quick service, reasonably priced radler. Cons: Many wasps in the air around patio, all sliders should be $ 3 instead of some being $ 4, should not have to pay for very small order of fries if a certain number of sliders are purchased. Verdict: Would recommend.

Pretty surprised to see such bad reviews! Seems like they’ve made some changes, because I had a nice, quick meal on the patio with great service yesterday. I got the Beer Flight(sample of three), and went with a chocolate stout, nut brown ale, and the Radler(wheat beer and grapefruit juice… SOGOOD). They had an interesting beer menu, so I appreciated the opportunity to try a few for $ 6. Our server was great with recommendations. For food, I went with the schnitzel(meh), banh mi(great flavours), and the fish taco(perfection) sliders. The menu is unique and interesting. Our food came out quickly and our server checked up on us/cleared the table a few times. I went on a semi-full stomach, and for $ 20, I ate and drank well. The interior space and décor are a bit weird, so I feel like their business might suffer now that patio season is winding down. Also, the cardboard trays make the experience a bit annoying and messy when there is any wind. Otherwise, I enjoyed my experience here!

I don’t normally write reviews for place I get just drinks at but the service here was just so bad. After scanning the reviews, it seems as if this is the norm here. I joined my friends’ table and the server ignored me twice before realizing I needed a drink. He looked so confused after noticing I hadn’t been served yet as if a group of 4 turned 5 was the craziest thing to happen. Our table got lots of drinks and food and it was a good time. Service was generally attentive but when we got the bill it was just SUCH a mess. He had mixed everyone’s items up on the bill and it took so long to figure out. The last thing you want to deal with after a fun night of drinking. get it together. I also agree with what other people mentioned about the mandatory 18% gratuity and the wasteful cardboard containers that fly everywhere.

I don’t understand the bad reviews? The food was quite enjoyable and the service was fine. Maybe Friday night they have their A staff on?

The good: great patio, good beer selection. The bad: terrible service. I wanted to like this place. The menu has potential. Reasonable price let’s you try many sliders. Good was just OK. My Mexican Torta was just tomato-y pulled pork with avocado. Not good. The Pittsburgh was swimming on coleslaw dressing. Soggy. The sammic salad was very good though. Service was abysmal. We were a group of 18 but even with us all there the restaurant was maybe 25% full on a Tues night. Right away we were told there was a 18% autograt. We knew things would not go well form there. I’m giving this place a generous 2 for potential. It’s a 1 for execution. We waited 1.5 hours for food. Sat down at 8 and didn’t finish paying till 10:45. I know we were a large group but the place was not busy at all. I can’t imagine how long food would have taken if the place was actually busy. Waitress couldn’t give a rats behind about us. Wouldn’t separate bills even though we were forced to give 18% tip and the place was NOT busy.

Anything would be more enjoyable if it were faster service(so slow! And it was a slow night!) The added bruise was the 18% mandatory gratuity just for 6 ppl! Plus the sliders weren’t that spectacular to begin with to be honest. Think White Castle with a little bit of creativity Patio is nice tho. maybe good for drinks? But bring cash so you can leave as soon as the bill comes

Good beers, good selection of sliders, friendly staff and good prices! I am really not sure why this place gets negative reviews?! I caught up with a friend who was over from Australia and to him it literally felt like something outta suburban Sydney!

I could not disagree more with the BAD reviews this place got, I think this place is a 10⁄10. I came for dinner with two of my girlfriends on a Wed night and we had a great time! The vibe was cool — the fact that its on a trendy back street with lots of great people watching. The waitstaff was awesome, very attentive even though they were rammed. They also made great drink suggestions(Raddlers with a shot of GIN — must try!!) The food was GREAT! exactly what you would expect for a slider bar. I got the Elvis which was unreal and I recommend it for sure. Overall great place I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Despite the bad reviews, I think this place is pretty good… The food was tasty… I mean– who doesn’t like a little cheesy slider? They must have worked on the service recently, because it was attentive, prompt and excellent. In terms of décor, this was a miss. Linoleum floors leaves something to desire. And, the bar is backwards. You can’t see the bartender, nor see the beers, so that is a bit awkward. The patio is really fun though. So, they just need to redecorate and arrange the inside with the help of an interior designer, and they are good to go. Fun little spot. I’ll be back.

Wow — I am really surprised by all the negative reviews. My fiancé and I stopped by here on our way home as live near by and wanted to find a patio. I love how this place is tucked in so its secluded. Patio was nice with music. The menu is a slider menu with little buns filled with different ingredients. I thought the food was really yummy. Perfect for sharing for two. I like how also some of their sliders have a lettuce option too Service was great, food came out fast. definitely not as bad as others have described. I would definitely recommend this place despite all the other negative reviews.

The good Great patio, fresh beer, local feel. The bad The most expensive beer on the menu is $ 9 before tax, and arrives in a 400ml glass. Service was inattentive, and unprofessional(table was never cleared of dishes or garbage from food — wind was whipping our garbage onto other tables!!!). When the bill arrived, our table of 6 was surprised with a 18% automatic gratuity, which was not listed on the menu. When I asked about it, all I got was a «sorry». I understand that this is an industry norm, but we were basically ignored for stretches of our stay. Not a big fan of how much garbage the food format creates. On top of all that, no music on the patio. I was going to give this place 2 stars, but after reading my own review, I just can’t. I hope the management is listening. This place could be great, but with a lot of improvements.

One of the worst service experiences of my life. Unless the GM gets their act together, this place is not long for this world. There appeared to be no dedicated servers to tables or sections which cause for deplorable service, angry clientele and confused servers. My dinner-mates and I were seated by a nice dude, but after he left us — promising to bring back menus — we never saw him again. After sitting there for 15 minutes, my friend finally went to the bar to steal one menu(he would only give her one). After waiting for another 20 minutes, with not a single staff member coming over, my other friend grabbed a random server walking by and basically made her take our order. 1.5 hours later, our food hadn’t arrived yet but she finally did come back to take a beer order. When we asked after our food, a wave of terror came over her face … it would appear that she didn’t put our order in at all. We finally did get our food but half of our order was missing. The sliders were ok, the fries were awful.

We went with my 2.5 year old — complete disaster. We asked for the cheeseburger with no pickles and onions and were told«the chef doesn’t do mods. He has a vision for every dish.» Ugh. Drinks came with short straws, but were served in tall cups. The presentation, which another reviewer described to a tee, led to us having to throw away a lot of food because it would fly out of the tiny cardboard tray when the wind kicked up, which happened a few times. The staff acted like it was a HUGE favour to get a pickle-free burger and seemed to dread/avoid our table after that. They didn’t even ask how the food was.

Perhaps it is because I waited with anticipation for a great casual dining experience so close to home, watched the renos, heard rumours about the possibilities, but my visit left me disappointed. I think I was expecting sliders with various flavours defined by how the meat paddy was seasoned and parings with different buns and condiments but even the cheeseburger was, in my opinion, tasteless. I did like the chicken wing slider though the rest left me flat, especially the buns. Did not find the waffle to be fresh and warm which I expect was just a kink that will be worked out. Also, wasn’t crazy about the décor. Yellow/beige paint a huge cactus painted on the wall didn’t give any indication of what look they were trying to achieve. Perhaps, in time this will be worked out too. They should definitely lose the Miller Light Branding everywhere as it takes away from the good beers that they offer. Also, if I wanted to eat off of a paper tray, I’ll go to a chip truck. I feel like I’m being a bit harsh on a new business, so I’ll give Bronco some time and try it again later in the summer. BTW, server was pleasant and the patio is always great to have.

I’ll try and be as constructive as possible and hopefully the owners can step it up, I love the fact new business is opening in my hood and want to support them but in this case I was very disappointed. I was expecting good things but unfortunately got the opposite. The Service Very polite but had an aura of no confidence in what they were serving. As if they were expecting a backlash from customers for some reason, they seemed very tentative. This is more a vibe /feeling than anything else although one server did describe the loaded fries as «like the ones at Taco Bell» which was repeated to other tables which didn’t seem to go down well and was putting people off the idea. The Environment: The patio was really nice and the big benches where good to fit 6 easy. The interior looked questionable, it had some weird cactus desert style décor that gave it a Fast Food /Shawarmer /Burrito Mexican Take Out vibe. I heard it was supposed to be a Sports Bar but only saw one small TV on the wall. The Presentation I was a bit confused when our order arrived. Everything is served in little cardboard take out trays(food truck style) and the Slider Buns appear to be cheap bought in Hot Dog Buns, literally cut to half length. I thought this was very odd. I was expecting cute little round mini burger buns maybe with some sesame sprinkles and a skewer to keep things together. One slider was served with no lid which fell off on the way, with not a thing mentioned as it was handed to me. The cardboard trays where clumsy and seamed wasteful, they would look much better all served on reusable metal trays. The Food We ordered 6 sliders and loaded fries to share(3 sliders each). The Loaded fries where served in a cardboard tray no bigger than the palm of my hand and cost $ 9! Yes, NINEDOLLARS! $ 4 for the fries and then a further $ 5 for the added topping of Pulled Pork, Cheese Sauce, Sour Cream and Chives. It’s defiantly not big enough to share and to put in a comparison the loaded«Dirty duck fat fries» at Wvrst arrive on a metal tray as big as your face, cost $ 8 and can easily serve 3 to 4 people. That being said they tasted good and defiantly were not«like Taco Bell»! Sliders — $ 4 Nashville Hot Chicken: Best of the meal. I would actually say it was AWESOME! Just poorly presented(This was the one where the lid had fallen off). — $ 4 Fillet of Fish: Second best of the meal, had a good balance of flavor and the batter was light. — $ 3 Cheeseburger: It had an good flavor but it was extremely salty. — $ 3 Mac&Cheese: Tasted cheap/frozen and was covered in far too much regular ketchup. Either let the customer put ketchup on it themselves or put some homemade style ketchup on it /on the side to make it «special» and step up the quality of the Mac burger. — $ 4 Eggplant Parm: Nothing to write home about and the Italian seasoned red sauce tasted fresh out of a tin. — $ 4 Po Boy: Fried Oyster, this one I didn’t get to taste but my wife liked it and was the only one she actually ate all to herself. — Bread Buns: Tasted and looked like half cut hot dog Wonder bread buns. Drinks We ordered a drink each. One soda and a Beer. Total $ 50!!! If you were just to have a few beers on the patio then your good but we won’t be going back for food unless I hear otherwise that things have stepped up. For the owner I would recommend checking out your competition both on quality, presentation and price to keep yourselves in the game! To name a few check out Grand Electric, Wvrst, Brock Sandwiches, Wilber’s Tacos even the Foggey Dew and the beloved Old York to step it up. You could be great!
