I ordered the strawberry smoothie and damn, was it good. Just straight up strawberries and their mystery mix tasted amazing. I just hate when businesses charge me tax and then cancel the transaction once I pay, so that they don’t record it. Complete bullshit, and it’s disrespectful. So I can’t give them more than 2 stars, despite a drink I would return for. Dishonesty has a bigger impact than a good drink.

Let me just start out by saying one thing. I take that back this is going to be a long post so hold your belly and don’t try and go to some other boba store. I mean it. If you’re looking for the best freaking bubble tea that you have ever tasted than look no further. I’m going to sell this place to you like the Mr. ShamWow guy and make you say WOW every time. Need bubbles?! Have no fear the bubbles here are succulent, juicy, and unbelievable. The bobas are actually sweet here! Think about the most delicious desert you’ve eaten and pack it into a little ball. That’s what this place is! STOPLOOKING! You son of a beez you’ve found it! UREKAH! Holy mother effin grail! Take all your other bubble teas, put them all in the bag, and ship them back to asia or something. I’ve been meaning to write a post on this place, but didn’t have the time too. I’ve had my fair share of bubble tea amongst the best places in the world(Taipei, HK, China, LA, NYC, SF, Seattle, etc.) and this place blows all of them out of the water. There’s just something about this place that makes the milk tea super good. You’ll just have to try it to believe it. Didn’t like bubbles before? Well it’s probably because you didn’t try this place. Get one of the milk teas. Don’t be a beez and get the non milk ones like a slushy or something. It aint worth it. Enjoy :)

We came back to redeem our last voucher. I ordered the Velvet Rush again and again they didn’t have it. Same for the other energy tea drinks. I ended up getting the Raspberry-Blueberry smoothie, while my husband ordered the Berrynana again. Kind of a safe bet. I won’t be back though. Bubble Tease has failed to impress me.

I just got home from ordering a coconut taro bubble tea from here. Terrible! I’ve been drinking bubble tea on the west coast for almost 10 years and this was the worst ever. First, they advertise as «bubble milk tea» and charge $ 3.49 for a small. Then charge either 50 cents for tapioca or 90 cents for jelly. Um, charging extra for the«bubble» when advertising«bubble tea» is a total scam. It came to over $ 4 for a small, watery bubble tea. I’ve paid $ 1 less for superior tasting and larger size on Vancouver. Don’t bother with this place!

Horrible. When I was there(one time was enough of an experience for me), the«fresh» fruit was covered with what i hoped were just water crystals… shriveled up strawberries, among other things. This was also the first time I ever got bubbles that would STICKTOGETHER! Clearly an indicator of how long they have been sitting there and not been stirred or anything. Also the consistency was awful… some hard, some very soft… this is definitely some awful bubble tea. Taking into account that the price is roughly the same as at Tea 168, this to me is the worst choice when it comes to buying bubble tea on Yonge.

This location is in the basement of the AMC theatre building in Dundas Square. I ordered a mango milk slushie with tapioca. This is not the same as a smoothie, which is made with real fruit. The slushies are made with the bubble tea mix. I’m guessing the smoothies are probably good, because they are made with real fruit, but my slushie was just ok. It really didn’t have a very distinct mango flavour in my opinion. There were a lot of tapioca pearls though, for those people who really like a lot of them.

Look how far we’ve come, Toronto — bubble tea stands right by a subway entrance. Sure adds a bit of exotique to my commute. I know this is a chain and is ridiculed for its lack of charm, but BT actually has the budget to stock frozen fruit and, therefore, provide real fruit smoothies. Since this is something a lot of the mom-and-pop stands lack, it puts it ahead of the bunch. I had the mango-papaya smoothie, without milk, and it was fantastic, even on a cold day. Plus, I’m a jelly freak, and not only do they offer a wide range of jelly flavours, including passionfruit(my fave), but they also don’t cheap out on it, either. Over a third of my cup was reserved for the jelly goodness, and that made this beverage drinker all assortments of happy.
