I was visiting Toronto with a 7 week old baby this summer, and stopped in. I enjoyed the range of ages and styles and found some great prices on Boob Design nursing tops, speciality bottles I had been looking for, and some great new organic booties– plus a really cool designer hoodie for my toddler. The saleswoman was extremely helpful, and when she noticed I was nursing in a baby carrier said, «Please relax– sit in the rocker!» And proceeded to get me a lovely drink of water, and we chatted. This place is a gem! Excellent and friendly service. Looking forward to returning, now that we have relocated to Toronto!

I have been trying to go to bumbleberry kids for a while but with an 8 month old it took me longer than it should especially since they are closed monday and tuesday. I am not sure if that is why I had higher expectations or if it was all the great reviews but overall I was not impressed. First of all, it’s a baby store and number one you should be able to get your stroller in the store. There are ramps up the 2 – 3 stairs outside which gives you the impression that you should be able to get your stroller in. Wrong-don’t even try. The inside of the store is small, narrow, and crowded. Anyways I ended up leaving my stroller unlocked outside to go in. The staff seemed nice and I am sure that if you looked hard enough there are deals to be had. I was limited in the amount I could look while holding onto my son. All in all, I have been to better used baby stores.

I was really disappointed when selling my «used» items. I called in advance and explained what I had. I was asked specifically if I had an exersaucer(which I did). I explained that it was brand new in the box and even had batteries. They gave me $ 21 for my brand new exersaucer and a pile of clothes. I got ripped off. I am aware that you only receive 30% but I was told they would sell it at new and that would be approx $ 80 considering it costs over $ 100 in stores. They also have my electric double breast pump and said to leave it with them and in a week they’d tell me their offer… 3 weeks later and I still haven’t received any information and I’ve phoned 3 times. I am in dire shock that they only gave me $ 20 for a brand new exersaucer and a pile of clothes that were literally only worn once. The selection for boys clothes 6 months old is pathetic and so was the service I received. I literally cried when I left because I couldn’t carry the exersaucer back with me so I had to sell it for next to nothing. I just pray that I will get my breast pump back so I can wash my hands clean of this awful place.

I love this store. The products are carefully and mindfully chosen. The service is super friendly and the prices are great. You get nice quality stuff for your kids and a new home for stuff you no longer need. You reduce impact on the enviornment by purchasing used, and instead of throwing your money to a faceless corporation profiting off the backs of workers in collapsing warehouses, you get to support a tiny, local business run by lovely people who care. Win and win! Thanks for being in the community, Bumbleberry Kids!

An amazing hidden gem to satisfy your shopping desires and savy way to turn clutter into cash!!! This store carries everything from clothing up to around size 10 and accessories. But that’s not all, that also have baby furniture and gear(strollers, bouncy things, etc.) and if only I had known earlier REALLy well priced maternity wear. The staff are incredibly fun and helpful. I was amazed to see brands like Burberry, little Marc, and tons of Euro brands. I cashed in some of my old stuff and used the credit to get some great new stuff. The amazing thing is I can bring it all back again and repeat once my little critter outgrows the stuff. Brilliant!

EXCELLENT customer service, amazing service! We drove from Etobicoke to this store just because they offered us an exceptional service. They replace a broken toy with another one, without even ask for receipt. We are impressed with the service. We dealt with a nice lady, she even checked the batteries for us! Very friendly service! We’ll be back for sure!

I decided to check out this place today based on the other reviews and because I skipped it last time I was in the beaches assuming it was another overpriced kids clothing store. Man was I pleasantly surprised! Not only are the prices fantastic, the merchandise is well maintained and the service is really friendly! I snagged a hat for $ 2 and a shirt that looks like it has a tie and a pen in the pocket(nerd chic!) for $ 6. I’m definitely going back there to sell some of my wares: all you need to do is either bring down your gently used items or pictures of bigger items and the store owner will price them out and give you 30% of her retail value! They also had some fab formal wear for only $ 5!!! So I’ll be hitting it back up for that white tuxedo for the couple of weddings that I’m planning on overdressing my kid for. Nothings more dapper than explosive pooping through a white tuxedo at a summer wedding.

I’m really impressed! Came here with a mommy friend who lives in the area(sooo jealous) and we both came out with several items. The store is small but the merchandise is quite nice. The girl section is much more impressive than the boy section — as it is in most stores. My friend walked out with a flawless white dress that was lined and absolutely gorgeous for $ 12.50. She also bought a couple of adorable pants that were in the $ 6ish range. I bought two shirts, one vest, and a pair of jeans — all for $ 23ish(including tax!). My finds were not quite as nice as my friend but I do recognize girl clothes are always cuter and more abundant than boy clothes. Clothes are priced better and MUUUUCH nicer than Once Upon A Child. Service is incredibly friendly. There are steps into the store but there is a portable ramp that makes the store stroller friendly. I will definitely be coming back … and often!!! *** CASHONLY ***

The service at Bumbleberry kids is superb. My son saw something through the window(a Hallowe’en costume) and even though they had just closed they opened the door and let us in. My 3 year old was thrilled. If you make a three-year old happy you know you’ve made the mom happy. They have a great selection of gently used second-hand clothes. Always a great deal, always great selections. I love this store.
