Everything that you considered buying at that yard sale last Saturday, along with everything else you didn’t, found its way here. The place is piled high with lots of old junk. Some of it might be considered vintage provided that you are still hungover from the night before. You might find a dusty old suitcase or album that still plays here. It is even possible that your collection of Smurf drinking glasses might be filled out here. Prices are all over the place. Furniture tends to be more expensive, considering it is generally closer to landfill than antique. There is something oddly fun about the place. I won’t be back, but am glad I stopped in once.

Cool place and a welcome break from the overpriced antique stores in Queen west — Roncy block. There is tons of junk here but if you are willing to sift through, you’ll find some good stuff. I recently bought a solid wood desk and a chair, and I love it! I have shopped at their previous bloor street location as well. Never know what you will stumble upon!

Good finds, cheap prices. understand that this isn’t the place to find restored items, but rather a place to find hidden treasures that need a little love to bring them back to life. you will need to hunt often as this place is usually stuffed to the point where you can’t see all they have, plus they are constantly bringing in new items. be warned though that alot of items should be labelled«free to good home» instead of having price tags, but with that being said I have purchased some items that have received numerous compliments. in terms of prices the captain can’t be beat, just remember the price is more of a guide. think American Pickers, bundling will get you the best prices

Captain’s treasures located on Bloor street west is a decent vintage furniture store. The store itself is jammed packed like Norwegian sardines with inventory. They should truly be on an episode of hoarders! It is unfortunate that they have not reorganized their inventory because they have some interesting pieces. If you step into the store you are overwhelmed by all of the merchandise. It is a challenge to manœuvre yourself around the store and it is very difficult to really get a good look and appreciate the pieces. Typically the best items are displayed out front on the street. Prices seemed a little high for me considering the quality of the furniture. They have a decent website with new arrivals posted weekly. Captain’s Treasures has some nice booty. However, it is not too bootylicious for ya babe.
