I only went to this mall because I needed to review it for my Unilocal list of ghetto malls. AIso was hungry and hoped to find something in the food court to eat.(ended up at Taco Bell) I don’t even think Cedarbrae qualifies as a mall per se. It is anchored by big box stores such as Wal-Mart, but the mall itself is nothing. The food court is small and only has your basic franchises, like McDonalds. The shops aren’t interesting either. I was hoping for some quirky charm. At least the mall was lively, with a good number of customers. This saved it from the sad atmosphere one might expect.

Newly renovated. Looks much nicer inside and out. This is one tiny mall that has everything you need in a highly busy neighborhood. Walmart, Canadian tire, No frills, gym, service ontario, bank(opening soon) and other specialty shops. Everything you need is right there!

Dumpy and mostly sells junk. The 2nd star is due to the Beer Store and LCBO in the parking lot. They are huge and so is there selection.

Cedarbrae Mall is one of the nicer neighbourhood Mall in the Scarborough Area. With Canadian Tire, Toy R Us and Zellers as the anchorage stores, they do bring a more diversified customers then the smaller malls. If you want a bite, most of the food selections are more main stream: McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell and Tim Hortons. but it might make some people really happy though… Cedarbrae Mall is a good place to go if you are into last minute Birthday/Anniversary/Christmas shopping as it is not as busy as Scarborough Town but have something that is half decent for your loving family!
