Been here a couple times for some off the cuff Chinese food. Whether it’s a side, or a whole meal, the food has been fantastic. There has been a sense of blandness to some food, though I am only talking about the rice dishes or the battered mushrooms. Even then, I was addicted and couldn’t put my fork down. I cannot recommend this place more if you are looking to randomly stop for some Chinese food and a beer. For the whole family? Not so much. More of a «to grab a bite to eat» kind of place.

Emergency Dining Only. I only dine here when I am really hungry and not sure what I want so I will have a plate of bean sprouts with chicken. It takes the edge off and buys me time. I shouldn’t be too hard, the people here are nice and the food is «ok». Just don’t dress for the occasion.

As a Certified Broke College Student, I like this place a lot. Appearance-wise, big enough dining area with booths and tables. There’s a few TVs around for watching while you eat. Not lots, but everything was clean, and are you really here to watch TV, anyway? Waitress was super friendly and made conversation, which was nice. While we were there, a guy who seemed like a regular came in and she asked him how a sick relative was doing. They have a huge selection of chinese food, and have other things like burgers, fries, and sandwiches too. Everything is cheap as heck, and even better – the portions are so, so worth it. This place really isn’t afraid to give you food. You could easily get food and a drink for under $ 10. I’ve had their all day breakfast a bunch of times – 2 eggs, toast, two sausages and homefries for less than $ 5. Anyway, guess I’m going to all day breakfast tomorrow. See you around 3pm, Celline Garden.

Clean and simple little Chinese food restaurant. Lots of options and very affordable. The food was made lickity split and was quite delicious. Will definitely go back.

The perfect burger! No joke. I figured I would get the burger and fries, and some extra fixings, and literally couldn’t believe the amount of food for the price. Burger perfect Bacon on it perfect Totally blown away by such a small strange allusive location.

This restaurant is literally located about a block from my mother’s house. As a result of the location if this place it became a typical place that I use to eat at. With relatively cheap prices, WIFI and television this place isn’t too shabby. What I don’t like about this place is that there are a lot of sketchy looking people that come here to eat. It makes me feel uncomfortable but I guess there isn’t much I can do about that though. For anyone that enjoys really greasy, fried food this is your place. It offers a wide range of Chinese food to your typical bar food. :) –CL

While on my way to the T&T Waterfront Night Market, I realized I had gotten onto the wrong bus and my family who was at the festival already advised me to go back because of the storm that blew down the tents and caused the power to go out. I was STARVING, I hadn’t eaten the entire day because I wanted to fill up on Asian streetfood, and found Celline Garden Restaurant right across the street and though why not? What to expect –Typical Chinese Restaurant that appears to be a family business. –They have a bar and a large dining space, mind you it’s nothing fancy. Waitress was very kind and knew how to serve food efficiently. –It was surprisingly not too busy for a friday night. What I ate –I was starving, but had a budget so I chose a combination plate, something I never do unless I have a budget. It was Beef fried rice, egg roll, chicken balls and beef chop suey. –Fried rice was good, it had that wok taste I look for in every restaurant. The serving was also big. –Egg roll was typical, but tasted a little like cinnamon/5 spice. –Chicken balls actually HADCHICKEN and the batter was light and crunchy. –Chop suey was heavy, big portion of mostly bean sprouts, carrots and pieces of beef. GOODRESTAURANT. If you’re really hungry/live in the neighbourhood.

Whenever people used to tell me «If there are lots of Chinese people in a Chinese restaurant then you know it is good», I used to just shrug and think it was just a perception thing. I walk into this place and it’s full of white people and Walmart rednecks. The bar, the tables, the décor looks like it came straight out of the 70s and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Whatever I thought, I was hungry and the mango chicken special was cheap and sounded good. The waitress came to take my order about 5 minutes after sitting down, I didn’t mind because I was entertained by the CP24TV just in front of me. I order the mango chicken and a glass of water. A few minutes later I get my glass of water, it was full of particles floating in the water, they really need to look into a filtration system or their plumbing. The entrée arrive 10 minutes later. It came with a small cup of rice and some chicken douched in a fluorescent orange sauce and some vegetables. The sauce had an overly strong, artificial mango taste to it, and the vegetables were under cooked. If you are really looking for some Chinese food, walk 10 minutes north to Gerrard Chinatown, or walk west or east along queen for any other deli, café, or Thai restaurant.

Great low priced Chinese fare. Nice little sit down restaurant with a series of booths on the one side and the bar on the other. Can get a great combination plate and drink for under 10 $.

Got off the bus and had a hankering for some cheap Chinese eats. I looked across the street and saw Celline Garden. Cute, clean little Chinese place and almost every table was taken(lunch crowd). I settled in and ordered Cantonese noodles(crunchy). In no time I had a nice heaping plate full of noodles, shrimp, pork, beef, chicken and lots of sauce. That, a glass of water, and tip took the total to $ 11.00. Many regulars were coming in as the ladies working knew what they wanted without them even ordering. Which is always cool. Good service, decent food, and great prices.

Favourite place for take-out Chinese, just around the corner. All the classics, love the shrimp rolls in particular. The chicken balls are moist and lightly battered(unlike some places where you dig through batter to find the tiny bit of chicken). They deliver, but I usually just call the order in and run down and pick it up.
