Chocky’s On Yonge

It’s a surprising hole in the wall. I didn’t expect to find anything (looks like one of those cheap $ 10-​for-​everything sorts of shops), but they actually retail items that they buy from wholesalers, which include Aritzia’s supplier and American Apparel.
No really!
I picked up a long-​sleeved shirt by some tacky brand called Superstitions, but it was 100% cotton, sheer and I would have paid $ 25 easily at American Apparel or maybe more at Aritizia or those other fancier shops that sell this kind of top.
I scored it for $ 7!
They also had actual American Apparel items but they couldn’t use the brand name, selling for $ 5 — $ 7 each shirt.
They also had Aritiza supplier’s selling these striped tank tops that these other gym rat girls went gaga over, for only $ 12 rather than the $ 38 that Aritzia charges.
I think it’s a great place to go for bandeaus, leggings and basic t-​shirts or long-​sleeved shirts, but you may not find as huge of a selection depending on how fast/​slow their wholesale stock runs out before they put in another order again to refill the shelves.
Prices are reasonable.
