In concept, I love the store. I love that it’s all Canadian-made, independent designers in Toronto about 15 minutes away, and they are all beautiful pieces. That said, there are only about 3 major fabrics in the store, but made into different styles. For instance, with one style of cloth that they buy a ton of fabric of, they make two different types of dresses, jackets, skirts and so on, all from the same cloth. So you can literally buy the entire line and wear every piece that will match perfectly with the others. The demographic seems to be rich(er) women in their 40s — 60s… which isn’t to say that a 20-something like me can’t wear the dresses, but first I would have to shell out about $ 300 per dress, and second, I would have to find the styles I like. Otherwise, it’s a very lovely store, they are very nice and will do alterations for free :)

Comrags sells wonderful canadian-made clothing. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Sure it’s pretty pricey: you’re paying for quality that will last, and items that are made here as opposed to sweatshops in faraway lands. I am saving up for one of their beautiful dresses.
