Horrible shellac application and not much of a selection of colours. Couldn’t do a proper manicure as well. Everything looks run down, unsanitary and old.

The esthetician was nice but had not-a-clue of how to apply shellac French on my nails. I left with a very thick coat of shellac and the lines were no where close to straight. The price was good, $ 20, for a botch job.

I was in Toronto for business and found this nail salon by the Unilocal reviews. I think the other reviewers only had mani-pedis so I can’t compare my experience to theirs much. I was looking to have my pink and white gel nails refilled. The ladies who were working there were definitely nice. The price wasn’t bad. However, the lady talked me into getting those bio nails and they are AWFUL. The white isn’t even«white” — more like beige. I wanted them square and they’re more rounded. She assured me that the white wouldn’t chip off– it did 2 days later. My nails look horrible and they’re extremely bumpy and uneven. A real disappointment. I had to have them redone the second I got back home. So try this place for your simple run-of-the-mill mani-pedi, but for fake nails I’d go somewhere else!

I stopped in with a girlfriend for a post-work pedicure this afternoon and left with beautiful, lush little toe nails. The woman who did my pedicure was quick, gentle, and friendly and they seated me in a massage chair for the pedi! A chair! That massages you! While someone rubs and prettifies your feet! I’m not sure it gets better than that. The price was right(they have a mani & pedi special that’s an even better deal, but I’m a terrible nail biter, so it would be wasted on me). Everyone was friendly and service was quick. The space itself could be cleaner — it feels a tad run down.

I’m so excited to be writing my first five star review! I LOVE this place. Went there yesterday for my first mani-pedi before a beach holiday.(Maybe that’s part of the reason I’m in such a good mood, but the mani-pedi sure helped.) These guys really know what they’re doing. The salon is run by a bunch of lovely, friendly, professional ladies. I made an appointment half an hour before, and there were two staff members free so I got my mani and pedi at the same time. As soon as they began work I could tell they were pros – thorough, efficient, but also gentle. They helped me pick a colour and let me try it on my nails first and were unfailingly polite and friendly throughout. Even though they got quite busy towards the end, they didn’t rush me out the door as many other places do – they let me sit and wait until my polish was dry and so there were no smudges on the way home, and I have a set of perfect nails(a lifelong first for me). Possibly the best thing is the price – manicure AND pedicure for $ 35($ 40 tax in)! Amazing. Highly recommended.
