Simply the best coffee we’ve had in Toronto. They even know not to put too much milk in a Cortado. Awesome!

So this used to be one of my favourite joints, but in the last few months to half year it’s really gone downhill. I used to come in here daily but I just had my last experience Sunday morning. So I find now that the coffee has no flavour. It’s likely because they let the espresso sit for ages before they make the drink, but who knows. Based by the condescension I received from the tribally tattooed guy, I’m a complete coffee idiot(despite my polite requests in the making of my coffee — from the years I spent in coffee myself) so who knows. All I know is that the years I spent coming here over every other café in the neighbourhood are over.

We first saw this place from a Unilocal search, and thought it would be great for our third Ossington Breakie! However, although the place was cool, we didn’t feel like pastries so went to another nearby place for breakfast(Lakeview) and then came back to get some work done an for some drinks, like we said we would. We weren’t disappointed! The lattes were tasty and hot — one regular, and one chai — and when my daughter realized she had forgotten to order hers w almond milk instead of regular, and I went back up to order another, our server said no problem and was going to offer the new one at no charge — even though it obviously wasn’t her fault. I said thanks but no way, paid for the third latte, and it turned out superb… just like the rest of the morning! The wifi was solid and fast, we were always concerned that we weren’t taking up spots for other customers even though we wanted a few hours there, and we never felt rushed or hurried — a VERY chill spot to grab a latte for a break!

The coffee here is probably one on the best in Toronto, good amount of selection of drinks to choose from and they sell all the coffee making gadgets you need! The place it pretty cool, quiet enough if you want to work, and the charming ambiance!

Tucked away on Ossington north of bustling West Queen West, Crafted is a coffee shop spun off from the popular Te Aro in Leslieville. Upon entering, my friend and I were not acknowledged by the staff(a head nod would suffice). This wasn’t a major problem, as long as the coffee was good. Unfortunately, the cortado I had was unpleasantly bitter. Will not be returning.

Ugh — if I could give this coffee shop fewer stars, I would!!! My hubby and I tried this place today — he got a cappuccino and I got an Americano(both with almond milk). They were awful — burnt /metallic taste and basically undrinkable! They weren’t cheap either. Maybe the barista was having a bad day or something but I just couldn’t bring myself to drink my coffee — even after spending almost $ 4 on it!!! Wont go back again.

A great little coffee shop with a good amount of seating, great décor and free WiFi. Plenty of plugs for charging your laptop and mobile devices. The Iced Chai Latte was a little on the sweet side, but overall refreshing for the price.

For the amount of teas, fresh grapefruit juices and scones I’ve enjoyed from Crafted… I give them the illustrious five star bump! *And the crowd goes wild.* This neighbourhood spot is great for coffee nerds, seekers of wifi and lovers of continental breakfast treats.

Nice shop with good specialty drinks. We stopped here while strolling around on a nice day. I had an iced dirty chai latte(My favorite!) and it was yummy! Not too sweet, which is a common problem I run into with those. We sat at the window which was great because it was a big open area. The sun was shining on us and we could people watch while enjoying our coffees. I would come back here!

Absolutely LOVED their latte with almond milk. I dare say one of the best lattes I’ve had. Cute patio space at the back and some tables if you want to grab coffee, read a book or get some work done. If you sit by the window, you can do some decent people-watching. I also got the breakfast bar and it’s yummy! A good vegan snack to munch on while you’re doing work or chatting away.

An excellent cup of caffeine I had today. There’s a Ryan Gosling lookalike cleaning up a panini on the outdoor bench. There’s a 90’s Playlist happening. If every visit is like today I’ll be a regular. Cute little space. Front window west-facing so I’m catching the wonderful afternoon rays. Super content.

What a great place! We were a block down Ossington and looked at each other — «I smell reeeeally good coffee»…“So do I. Where is it coming from?!” We followed our noses and arrived at their door, walked in and instantly loved the place. We chatted with one of the friendly, helpful young men behind the bar and watched him pull espresso shots from the unusual machine — it looks built into the counter. We then decided on a pound of coffee to take home and an americano and a cortado. The americano had a fantastic crema and rich flavour. The cortado(50% espresso/50% cream & milk) had an amazing rich, silky taste and texture. We will be stopping in again when our trips to Town Moto on Ossington become more frequent in spring and summer!

I’m a sucker for an excellent cup of drip coffee. It’s surprisingly hard to find now since most places seems to focus their attention on espresso drinks. Their beans here are freshly roasted and make for a delicious cup. Been coming here for a simple coffee about 2 – 3 times a week for 3 years and it’s always perfect. Every. Single. Time.

Every time I get coffee here, it’s perfect. I usually just end up here because I know it’s going to be good without question. It’s also a nice space for working in or having coffee with a pal.

Elegant, beautiful, friendly, prompt service making excellent nutty, buttery, clean coffee designed to bring out the full range of flavours in carefully roasted coffee. Not much more to add to the reviews here, except that I am thankful for them. I was in the area when it started to rain and I needed a perfect coffee and a place to breathe for a second and my Toronto Unilocalers led me here, and I’ll be back.

Having been impressed by the original Te Aro I was looking forward to this spot on Ossignton this one keeps the high bar set but the original. Setup is decent and fits in this neighborhood. Here is the verdict(repeat of the other spot) The cappuccino here is tradional sized so don’t be expecting huge mugs here. Nevermind it does it well where it matters. Espresso: Strong Crema’: Excellent Milk: Frothed Well Latte Art: Beautiful. High praise here folks as this is one of the top spot for this hard to master drink in the city. I will be back whenever I am in the area.

Friendly service and a good solid roast makes this a good go to spot on the Ossington strip. With the coffee scene on Ossington quite saturated it’s hard to stand out, but Crafted managed to be warm and inviting, while keeping things interesting. Friends ordered lattes, iced coffees, and all sorts of drinks while I had the plain old Americano. The crema on the Americano was the best that I have seen, with espresso notes that disappear normally when you add the water, but in this case the taste shines through. Pilot must know a thing or two about roasting. The barista was also highly skilled, managing our order of 8 without issue. When she made an extra Americano, she gladly gave it to a friend in our group! We sat at the back room and watched the rain drizzle down outside in the back yard patio, and chilled for a good 45 mins at least. It’s a comfortable spot that I would definitely come back to.
