Part takeout/​delivery joint, part dive bar, this place has everything I want: pretty good, inexpensive chicken wings, a pool table, a patio.
The clientele are kind of rough-​looking characters, but everyone leaves you alone (unless you’re loudly talking about martial arts technique outside, in which a stranger will offer some great advice). Service is friendly. The atmosphere is pretty divey: fluorescent lights, tiled floors, paper plates. I get the feeling that food isn’t their number one priority, which makes it ever the more confusing that their wings are pretty good. Get them with sauce on the side and they are crispy and cooked perfectly. They’re also a great price, and according to their flyer, they deliver.
