I go to Dove Spa every few months. I started coming here two years ago after my second bad experience with the lack of hygiene at the super cheap nail salons that are dotted along Bloor Street. Yes, you pay more for your mani/pedi but the place is pristine and the technicians are experts in their craft. I have had eyebrow shaping done here as well and the result is always superb. You do need to book ahead though as they almost never can take walk ins. They are part of the Way Spa family which often has sales on gift certificates online and through Costco-It’s a great deal for yourself or to give as gifts. The overall service –friendly and professional front staff and excellent technicians along with my satisfaction with the results are why I am rating this place as 5 stars.

I have been a regular at this location since they have opened. The girls are truly the best! They treat me like family and I feel extremely pampered. I wouldn’t listen to the negative feedback, some people just aren’t happy with anything. If you are looking for a non pretentious, friendly atmosphere, this is the place to be! My favourite treatment is the Aromatherapy massage! The oils they use smell so wonderful. I’ve had all three of the therapists, they all have golden hands! I also would highly recommend trying a facial! My skin always looks truly amazing after! Marzena and Fatima are incredible and very knowledgable!!! Sarah does my shellac manicures, her french polish is perfect! My only complaint is I can’t go every day!

I was there yesterday. I had not looked at the reviews which is something I usually do. I booked a 1 hr deep tissue massage and the facial special. The massage was a joke. I dont even think she spent an hour. she work on the back and neck and a light massage on the legs… I was so upset I wanted to get up and leave… the facial was fine but she asked too many personal questions which I dont think its very professional. I would not waste my money there again. When I told the attendant that my massage was not acceptable she did not like and she said«you had a good massage» as I was probably trying to avoid paying for it. Maybe business is too good.

Dove Spa might have good beauty products and services but I’ll never know. I can’t seem to grasp why they would even post a deal on Buytopia if they won’t honor customers with vouchers. Perhaps they don’t want to extend their clientele? I bought a voucher with a friend of mine and double checked the fine print, «subject to availability». My first call was in late January/February in which they told me the voucher can only be used from Tuesday-Thursday. I was a tad disappointed and decided to try the month after as my friend had a gruelling work schedule. The rest of my calls were very interesting. I was able to book the date and time but once the receptionist asked what service we wanted and I mentioned our vouchers she would immediately say there was no availability for voucher holders that day. I’ve called multiple times suggesting different dates but the available dates would miraculously become full. In the end, they were fully booked for May(month the voucher was due). Bizarre isn’t it, fending off business because they rather wait around for full price customers. I must add that the receptionist offered $ 59 gift cards(price we paid for the vouchers) but honestly can you imagine what criteria we would have to abide by to use them? I contacted Buytopia and explained my frustration. They informed me that Dove will extend the expiry date until the end of summer. As a result, I called them last week to book an appointment and the receptionist said they never agreed to those terms. I’ve known other spas and companies that extended the dates to accommodate the demand but I suppose customer satisfaction is something they don’t value as well.

My girlfriend and I went here after purchasing a Buytopia voucher. The atmosphere and people were incredible and we were blown away with the time and care they took with us. Top of the line product and staff makes this a very good place to escape for a while. Worth every penny! Thanks guys!

Went there for a Swedish massage. They were okay not the best I’ve had for a message but they definitely weren’t bad. Staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend this spa as a neighborhood spa. Definitely not as good as what you would find downtown but not bad. I would go back for a relaxation massage for sure.

Excellent spa! Very clean and professional! Maria is a very good tech. The SPA décor is all white and very relaxing. — private change rooms available to change into robes and lockers provided to store your items –lounge area to wait for appointment if you are early or to lounge around after drinking tea or infused water(with cucumbers or oranges) WAXING –they use the stick only once — NODOUBLEDIPPING FACIALS –first they do a free diagnostic to see which areas of your face need what sort of work. — facials are catered to your skin type — you can select a free mini treat with your facials(raning from polish change, hand or foot masks, eyebrow tidy, etc…) number and type of mini treats depends upon the length of facial PEDICURES –clean –They provide a «blooming tea» to sip while enjoying your facial
