Daylicious serves a mix of Japanese and Taiwanese snacks. I would recommend coming here for a snack with a small group maximum of 4. They still used the bar stools and the high tables from the previous business which are just so uncomfortable as I almost tipped over and fell down! Menu has a mixture of snacks, noodles and rice dish. Since I was here for lunch, I decided to order the Spicy Beef Noodle($ 8.50) extra spicy. The noodle itself was cooked well with a great bite without being doughy! The beef was soft and tender. The broth was spicy but still have a strong beefy taste! Service was OK. Wait staff was a little indifference but I didn’t really need any special service aside from a refill of tea. I might be back to try out their deep fried chicken and other snacks with a friend or 2 and even some sake. Izayaka? Maybe during the late night?

This new place has a good idea going on, It’s worth a try, but not really filing for the price. Don’t come really hungry, maybe good for afternoon snack or night night snack with beer. Atmosphere: the place is really small, the kitchen takes up most of the space, there are 2 four person tables and 2 against the wall that fits 2 – 3 each or if you have more people, they can push it together, otherwise you sit at the bar area. All the chairs are bar stools. I think their goal is a snack/beer place rather than a restaurant to get full from. Food: Rice: the rice options are still in trial, they had the chicken cutlet rice available(forgot to take pic) the chicken was very nice and tender and crispy on the inside, the rice was a bit on the small side. Noodles: tried the braised beef noodle, the beef was nice and tender, but the noodles were a bit soft and didn’t has as much bit/chew to it. Taiwanese meatball: the sauce is good, the whole thing was not hot enough(the edges were still hard) but the texture/filling is good. Izakaya: Chicken wings: 2 pics of winglet, totally not worth, was normal, I make better at home. Streaky pork: didn’t know what streaky pork was and ordered and it’s just pork belly/thick bacon I suppose? Good ratio of fat/skinny meat(50⁄50) but was a bit salty and oily. Lamb w/cumin: this one is good, but there is something funny about the spice, it’s missing something. Chicken w/cheese sauce: the cheese sauce is really good, it has fish roe in it and the chicken was nice and tender. I thought it was melty cheese in the middle, this is a chicken with sauce on top, with no cheese taste, but this sauce is good. Intestines: A bit salty and not crispy enough on the skin, would probably be even better if it was fried instead of grilled. Still good. The daily special had some item we didn’t order separately, besides the chicken w/cheese Taiwanese sausage: it’s literally a Taiwanese sausage on a stick, depends if you like Taiwanese sausage or not to get this. Fish meat: was a stick of fish meat, it has a very nice chew to it, need some kinda sauce, besides the dripped fat on the plate that I used for it. Not worth the price if ordered separately. Beef: too chewy, I could not swallow it, even after a long chew.(Only 3 pieces on each stick) Onion chicken: did not like this one, too much green onion, it’s like those green onion pancakes but on chicken, not a good combination. Overall, all the food wasn’t hot enough, or had that grill taste to it. Sounds like a lot of food, but it’s not, the portions are small. So if you like trying all kinds of different items at once, that would be good here. The waiter & waitress was very friendly, I want to give this a 3.5 stars(but can only choose 3 or 4, so I went with 3)
