Attended a wedding reception yesterday and wouldn’t have dreamt of raining on the Bride and Groom’s day but have no problem socking it to Destiny Banquet Hall today.
Inattentive wait staff, cold food, way too much old garlic used in veggies, warm white wine … oh and the one bus boy who literally climbed over me to clear the table. Apparently prerequisite wait service experience isn’t required to work there. The topper? My lovely daughter in law had to take my precious granddaughter out to the parking lot to feed and change her in the car because there were no amenities to accomodate nursing mothers or facilitate a diaper change.

We just had a wedding reception there and overall the experience was disappointing. There were not enough waiters to serve the hors d’oeuvres, the marinara pastas were blend and the vegetables were canned. Serving Cesar salad as part of the kids meal is just asinine and the DJ was a bit lost. I feel bad for the bride and groom. Their wedding was fun and they are a great couple, but the banquet hall didn’t help them.
