Exceptional Limo Service

I’m quite surprised the ratings for «Exceptional Limo Service» is as good as it is online. From my personal experience, these guys get the job done (drove me 15 mins from my home (Mississauga 401/​Mavis) to Pearson Airport This is not where my issues stand with this limo company.
#1 — I was given a ridiculous bill for $ 96 at drop off (without tip). I travel extensively and use airport limos at least 6 times a month. This is the first time I’ve ever paid $ 96. I usually pay $ 55 – 65 one way as I live only 15mins away from the airport. I questioned why it was so expensive to the driver and he told me that he was given that rate from dispatch. As I still needed to go through security, I paid my fee and went into the airport feeling a bit concerned that I may have been ripped off.
#2 — Upon checking in, I called their company for an explanation as to why their rate was so high. I called but no answer, then about 20mins later I received a call from a man stating he missed a call from me. I told him about my concern regarding the rate that I paid, and immediately he was in defensive mode. First he states «I want you to you know that I don’t believe in the saying that «the customer is always right» — Okay for one, even if you don’t believe that, you don’t say it to your customer. I myself am in sales and in that type of position you do everything in your power to first LISTEN to your customer and try to resolve their concern. He went on asking me «do you complain about your rate to Air Canada for your airfare?!» I told him since I know what I’m paying, of course I don’t have a problem. Then raising his voice he went on to state his company is different from others, his insurance is higher etc. Do you think a customer really cares if your insurance is higher? He was extremely aggressive, unprofessional, and would not let me speak. I tried several times to intervene to have him stop and listen — then I told him to stop and listen to himself and the way he is speaking to me. I have never experience such lack of respect and unprofessionalism from a ‘professional limo service’.
This man then told me if I cannot afford this rate, not to call his company and he doesn’t need business from «people like me». This makes me laugh, because it wasn’t about being able to afford this limo ride (which is a business expense for me). I believe in fair rates for the service provided and it was the principle for me to find out why their rate was so high.
I would never recommend Exceptional Limo to anyone — especially for your clients and corporate guests, unless you want Exceptionally Bad Customer Service.

Was very concerned about reserving a reliable and legitimate limo service to pick me up at Toronto Pearson. Moe made my reservation, gave me clear instructions for when i cleared customs, and told me the bill would be «$ 75.50 and not a penny more!» he was right on the money and the limo he arranged was new and very clean sedan. definitely recommend them to everyone!
